Should I just throw em into a vortex mod folder or just uninstall and then re-install with vortex? most of those are ones that i wasnt able to get to work with vortex so i did a manual install.

Hello I booted up Vortex today and was greeted with a prompt to create a junction folder to bypass the mods being in 2 seperate folders thing that starfield does. Upon clicking the prompt to confirm the action, Vortex crashed and I recieved the following error message : the "path" argument must be of type string. received undefined code: ERR_INVALID_ARG_TYPE paths.0: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield\Data paths.1: undefined TypeError: the "path" argument must be of type string. recieved undefined at __node_internal_captureLargerStackTrace (node:internal/errors:490:5) at new NodeError (node:internal/errors:399:5) at validateString (node:internal/validators:163:11) at join (node:path:429:7) at path.join (C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\resources\app.asar\renderer.js:9778:122) at mergeFolderContents (C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\plugins\Vortex Extension Update - Starfield Vortex Extension v0.4.4\index.js:1096:80) at async createJunction (C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\plugins\Vortex Extension Update - Starfield Vortex Extension v0.4.4\index.js:1121:9) i have a basic understanding of java and programming, but this beyond my abilities to reliably interpret, and quite frankly I dont trust myself not to make things worse if I were to try and remedy it myself. was hoping I would find, if not a solution, a temporary workaround, or at least gain some understanding of what specifically is going wrong, as vortex was working fine as of 24 hours ago. I'll just ingore the prompt and not touch anything for now and hopefully things wont explode. This is my first time actually posting on any sort of major modding forum, so I apologize if this has been answered already or if I am breaking some manner of decorum.
