I fixed the issue. I think it was because I was not generating mip maps when exporting the DDS file from GIMP.

I edited Dogmeat's textures and I was able to get them working on PC. They look fine when I run them on PC but I intended to upload it as a mod for XB1 and I am having some weird issues with the textures having large black areas. Does anyone know how I can fix this? This is what it looks like on XB1. This is what it should look like (this is taken on PC):

Thanks, that helped. I got it working after I put my texture into the proper file structure. -
I am very new to modding and wanted to make a new texture for dogmeat. I know how to edit Dogmeat's textures but I cannot find how to apply them. Basically, I edited the DogmeatBody_d file in GIMP and don't know what to do with my edited version in the creation kit. Any advice would be appreciated.
