  1. Awesome! Thanks for these tips. No enb worked for me after the change to win10, and no known fixes fixed it. Until now. Thank you.
  2. Hmm, unfortunately I'm another long-time player who has recently started suffering from the same plague. Symptoms are exactly the same, which made me come to the conclusion that the crash on saving is OBSE-related (also the game creates an .ess file but not an .obse file in the Saves foldes). But to make things complicated, I quit using P1KeyChain years ago, so it's not exactly the culprit - or not the only one. I have tried to solve this mystery on my own, but honestly I'm out of ideas. I have played and carefully modded Oblivion since its beginning, and as a well experienced modder I seriously doubt it's some noob error, although I wouldn't exclude that entirely. I wonder if anyone has ever come upon a good idea what might be causing this problem that came out of the blue, without installing new mods, changing settings, etc. A funny thing is one day I could go back a few saves, and load one of them, save, and be good to save again. Next day I load the same save as before, and I can't save from it any longer. Huh.
  3. Thank you for another chance. Merry Christmas everyone!
  4. A bit early, but Merry Christmas! :)
  5. Yeah, just as I thought. But I wonder what else might be blocking this functionality? Anyway, Oblivionaddicted, thanks for trying to brainstorm ideas. It's the first time I've come across such a nuisance, and I've been super carefully, but extensively modding Oblivion ever since the beginning. Well, it still is capable of throwing new surprises at you.
  6. Thanks, I don't think it's a mod conflict though, because the other, older character I created for this install, as well as a brand new one, still can trade with him. It's only my main character that gets a cold shoulder from old Norbert. It's like at some point he wound up his business, and even the merchant icon won't show in the dialogue options - only disposition, and end dialogue icon. Waiting 3 days won't help, changing the relevant portion of his NPC AI (shop opening hours modified by Oblivifall - Closing Time) and then waiting 3 or more days won't either. It's as if his merchant script doesn't trigger anymore, but then, studying him in TES4Edit I see he actually never had any merchant script, so likely something else is preventing him from buying and selling. (I haven't started his quest yet either, in case you wonder...) I'm at loss here.
  7. Hi, I'm trying to figure out what happened, and how to bring it back to normal. You see, Norbert Lelles from Anvil suddenly lost all his merchant dialogue, and since then (a few in-game days ago) I haven't been able to either trade with him, or complete his Enhanced Economy (plus Lubrons Patch, if that matters) quest, even though I've found the item he's lost. What's curious, his Banking Services dialogue (from Bank of Cyrodiil - standalone, I'm not using BC) is intact, and in this respect he still behaves as intended. Has anyone experienced similar behaviour from this guy? I'm scrambling for ideas, but I'm lost in the dark here. If you need my load order, here it is: Active Mod Files: And below is the list of installers: Bain Packages:
  8. Please, could you delete this topic? I had momentary lapse of reason when I posted it. A couple of hours later I realised that I simply forgot about folders menu50 and menu80, so my question was irrelevant.
  9. Many thanks, Contrathetix, for this solution. I had a similar problem (some windows - dialogue, inventory, etc. - seemed smaller than their contents, which was clipped and unintelligible, as well as wrongly positioned). Thanks to your tips I switched back to SaveSettings = 0 in OblivionReloaded.ini, made sure FOV in Oblivion.ini and OblivionReloaded.ini is the same (I'm not sure if it matters) and everything is back to normal.
  10. In response to post #8579154. #8579310 is also a reply to the same post. I must report the same issue on Oblivion nexus. Lost mine, too.
