Hey there fellow modders, I am currently working on a new mod that utilizes a new worldspace as part of the mod, and as I walk around in that world I notice it does not load all of the world like it does for the Commonwealth, so upon researching it appears I need to generate and LOD for my world. I would like to know if the tutorial posted here: is still a process I can use for Fallout 4. If not, I would appreciate some help on learning/generating a LOD. EDIT: Is it easier to create a large worldspace with a heightmap, and if so how does that work? They aren't many clear tutorials out there. Thanks, FalloutParker
  2. I am making a mod that contains a boss fight, and I want the boss to be completely resistant bow damage of all kinds. Any idea on how I can do this?
  3. Sotil is a new land expansion that will be the size of Skyrim. Explore the new lands of Sotil, meet new people, and fight hordes of monsters that inhabit the luscious forests of the land. New creatures, new weapons, new houses, new everything. This mod focuses heavily on the exploration aspect of the game, and as such there will be no map markers. This is for the tough, the prepared, and the hearty. Do not go into this mod expecting an easy time. You will fight, and you will die. However, with great struggle comes great rewards. Story: Sotil has been a lost continent for some time. No one has heard from it or have been able to find it in centuries. Some thousand years ago a Deadric Lord came into the world and claimed the continent for himself. This Lord created 6 Greats, or generals, who lead his forces across the land of Sotil and maintain his rule. The people of the land had tried to revolt against this Lord, massing armies the size of tens of thousands, but failed. His power was far to strong for simple mortal men. Upon a voyage on the high seas, your ship hit a ferocious storm and lost its course, only to end up on the lost continent. We need help! Sotil is a new mod that we have been working on that is now in its first stages. We are working on landscaping, modeling, and cluttering our world. However, we need help with this mod. Things we need help with can be seen down below. Voice actors - Won't you lend us your voice to make the characters of the land? Dungeon Creators- Can make some wonderful dungeons that take time and effort to get through? Modelers - Like to see your 3D models in game? Join our team and help today! Quest creators - Like making quests? Like making intricate quests? We need you! Story Writers - We need people who want to help lore for this land and help make a story line. Scripter - Are you the rare person who actually likes to script? Then you're weird! And we need you! Testers - Want to help us by playing our mod and giving us feedback? Message me!   4. As the title says, I am trying to take a worldspace from one .esp into another. Are there any programs that will allow me to do this or what? I need help for a large mod I am working on!
  5. We are currently creating a new mod that is very large and very populated. As such, we are looking for voice actors that would be willing to fill the roles of these NPCs. Some roles will require hundreds of lines and some just one or two. Please either reply to this thread or message me personally with the following information. What races can you do well? How many lines to you feel you can do? Do you KNOW you can stay with this mod for a long period of time? Would you like a side or main role? What do you rate the quality of your recording(out of 10)? What timezone are you in?

A New Hope for the Enclave adds a new world space, custom weapons, new characters, new voices, new quests, new armor, and a whole brand new story line that does not interfere with the original story line. A New Hope for the Enclave follows the story of the remnants of the old enclave from DC and other areas struggling to fight a war to exist. Against the BoS, the NCR, and a new group of people yet to be shown you will have to help the enclave win a war and continue to thrive to regain power. Are you up to the task of helping the enclave? The hope is to create a new world space that is as large as the Mojave that is one big battleground. 4 separate bases for each faction on each corner of the map with fully scripted battles between NPCs and vehicles. There will be a big difference in biomes as the new wasteland is made that included snow, desert, jungle, and suburban. Of course any help is appreciated from voice actors to scriptwriters to story-line writers, but for the rest of you please take a look at the pictures added and tell me what you think of it so far.   7. For my mod one of the things that has to happen is a Vertibird lands of drops of soldiers just like in Fallout 3 but I have no idea how to do this. I know im suppose to have the vertibird land using the activator FFER62VertibirdEncounter so it lands but i dont know how to make the npcs appear. Any help appreciated.
  8. OK I think i got it wrong my bad. I added lots of new items and took out some stuff and replaced them like the destroyed houses with new houses. I added some water crates and the 188 for instance and it saves those, but I also re-arranged some of the benches there but it doesn't save that. I removed a wrecked house it goodsrings and replaced it with a water tower but in game it has both in each other.
  9. Ok so I have been adding NPCs, quests, and most importantly changes to the environment. I need to make this file a .esm because another mod I am working on requires it as a master file. I have used Fallout Mod Managers TESsnip to make it a .esm and when I load it into the game it saves the NPCs and quests but none of the changes to the environment. I made sure that there wasn't another master files affecting it so I disabled all other mods and made a new save and still no changes to the environment. I tested the .esp by itself and it has all the changes but not the .esm file. Any ideas why?
  10. I am trying to make a very simple script that upon completion of the very first quest it displays a message that says thanks for installing my mod. I have my message set but the script is not saving correctly is says "save current script? current = " this is my script scn 000001ThanksForInstalling1 set shown begin gamemodeIf GetQuestCompleted VCG01 ==1 if [shown ==0] showmessage 000001ThanksForInstalling set shown to 1 endifendif end What the problem??? The message id is correct so I dont know

  13. We are creating a mod but we have no skill in creating a landscape for a mod were creating. We are making akavir and need help making a natural looking map that can be used for us to mod. I know some people use Geocontrol2 or make it by hand but if anyone can please do this it would be greatly appreciated if someone can please do this. If you can please reply or message me.
