First thing to do is download and run BOSS. If you run it from within Bash and it should reorder your load order. You have a lot of mods after your bashed patch and I happen to know at least one of those BOSS can sort. Second problem is that you are not using the Unofficial Oblivion patches. They fix thousands of game bugs, glitches, and broken things Bethesda never patched. The bug of being unable to sit can be caused by conflicting animation mods, or by cleaning an animation mod that is on the TES4Edit do not clean list. In particular, any mod based on Personality Idles should not be cleaned.
Check if you have a data folder inside your data folder. If you do, one or more of your mods is installed incorrectly and that can cause missing textures, meshes and other files.
My suggestion. You have a fairly short mod list there. Try disabling all your mods. Then re-enable the DLCs followed by the Unofficial Oblivion patches (include the Unofficial Oblivion Mod patches for the DLCs you have). Check your game and make sure everything looks and works alright. If it does, then start enabling one or two mods at a time, and run BOSS. Check if everything is ok. Rebuild bashed patch. Rinse, repeat until you find problem mods or you are done. Follow any special instructions BOSS may give you for the mods you are using.
already spent 4 hours doing all that, the mod list is the bug free version (as in no problem 1 and 3, should've mentioned that sorry). Already BOSS-ed, only problem now is bashed patch not doing the NPC idled correctly (problem 2). I had UOP but they caused CTD problem 1 when enabled so I disabled them.

well basically suffering from many fatal problems:
1. Whenever i had a mod that affect things like interiors, weather, etc I get crashes when entering a new cell. I have crash preventer mod enabled and hear many "ding!" sounds in the background and then the "oblivion encountered error" messages pops out. Sometime I can actually enter some interiors (if I'm lucky) but there would be no floor or walls or anything. all objects and NPCs would just keep falling into the bottomless oblivion. I already found a band-aid solution by disabling mods like natural habitat, immersive interiors, unofficial oblivion patch, and "all natural.esp".
2. NPCs cant sit, or sleep or drink. They don't play the animation, for example, that woman whos always angry in the arena (the "START TALKING ALREADY" women) is normally always sitting, but she just stands "in" the chair. The arena trainer that sleeps on the bedroll would "sleep" standing up. I know this is caused by the bashed patch's mayu animation patcher feature, if i rebuild patch without that option enabled everythings normal, but then all NPCs have custom animations.
3. The last problem is somehow connected to the first problem, there's invalid texture path when I enable the mods mentioned in 1 (probably other mods too but I cant pinpoint it for now), all the signs for stores are black, sky's are purple, body textures are pink/purple, and even custom cloths have pitch black textures.
my load order is below, btw as far as I know going back to default oblivion.ini did nothing.

OHHHH that explains everything, when I was fixing the voice for breton I thought all of them had to correspond to the race and changed them wrong, i changed it back and now its workings thanks!

For some reason oblivion decided not to load the voice.bsa files for voices, but instead chose to load directly from the sound folder. It happened after I installed War Cry New Dimension, which altered all the voice for vanilla races, for example, Bretons used Imperial voice, woodelves used high elf voice, etc. also the eye meshes got messed up, I managed to fix that in CS, but after that for some reason oblivion decided that it no longer wished to load voice.bsa for voices, but it loads directly from the data/sound/voice folder, which doesn't have woodelf, khajiit and orc voice, so now all those races are silent. I figured that I could copy voices from voice1.bsa and voice2.bsa, but for some reason its not in there, where are they located?

I;'m having the same problem, in my case, I downloaded War Cry new dimension and it messed up the voice acting. You need to first isolate the mod thats causing the problem, usually its a mod that adds in races, so disable them and see if it comes back to normal. Once you've found the culprit, load it in CS, make sure its active, go to races, then go to the breton, down on the bottom right of dialogue there is a voice option, change it to "Breton", its probably set to something not breton. go to all the other vanilla races and see if they have the corresponding voices, change them if necessary. You should also check dlcshiveringisles.esp and see if its changed in there as well.

anybody know where the face texture came from? I think it's moonshadow but with more defined eyeshadow (or eye liner w.e. :P)
I think some korean player had a similar face texture but I used to think its private, but now I'm seeing more and more of it on shyuploader and i know he's not the only person who has it.

For some reason EVERY single idle pose (like goma pose, vanilla, ctaddposes,etc etc) was messed up after I installed this mod

nope.. tried the search... i tried searching fallout, oblivion, bethesda, etc etc... anything that I installed on drive B doesn't have registry...or at least none that I could find in regedit
EDIT: Oh nvm I found it....
all the stuff I installed under B was found in a separate key called WOW6342node

well I basically moved the appropriate mesh and texture files into the nehrim folder, which is separate from the original folder, nehrim has its own nehrim.esm and will crash if loaded along with oblivion.esm..
So, using nehrim.esm as the master file, I did what you're supposed to do when adding a new custom race...i think... so here is a brief summary of what i did
1. created new race entry, made a short description +name, made the race playable
2. set body texture path to load the custom (moonshadow elf) textures
3. set mesh and texture path to head, teeth, ears, mouth, eyelash, eyes, etc (only nif and dds files were involved)
4. added hair and eye
when viewed thru CS the head actually looks fine, it looked like how its supposed to look like...
saved and tested, then the the face texture looks really messed up as you can see in the attached picture
I'm beginning to think that nehrim isn't loading the right .egt and .egm files... the files are in the same folder where moonshadowhead.nif is placed

A while ago I installed another hardrive, it doesn't have anything on it I just intended to use it as storage (non bootable), it was just plugged in and formatted, after a while I put space consuming games like mass effect 2, oblivion + mods, etc etc on it.
now here the problem...
whenever I open regedit, I cannot see any registry thats related to programs that I installed on B drive (thats the secondary HDD) I know the registries are there, because programs (like tes4edit) can still recognize where oblivion was installed even though it is on the B drive
Help plz?

I'm sure this has been covered somewhere, but looking thru several thousand posts to find it is no fun ..
Why are existing esp files unusable? If nehrim is based on the Oblivion engine then the nif and dds files must be the same. whats different? Just the location of nehrim on your hard drive?
It's because Nehrim has absolutely nothing to do with Oblivion except that it uses it's resources and engine. It's a totally new world, story and system. Mods made for Oblivion will not work so must be deactivated as they have nothing to refer to and will crash the game. The game engine Oblivion uses is also utilized by other games that have nothing to do with TES or Bethesda.
There are plenty of links for everyone to find the info in the OP, especially the FAQ and Install Guide.

Since Nehrim must be installed into it's own folder, NOT the Oblivion directory, the CS needs to be directed to the Nehrim files. I found this info on the Nehrim forum:
Copy these files from your Oblivion directory to the Nehrim root directory, like this -
Nehrim\TESConstructionSet.exe
Nehrim \ ssce5432.dll
Then make a Desktop shortcut to the CS exe in the Nehrim folder. Rename it to TESConstruction Set (Nehrim) and it will work. Only activate the esm and not the esp. The CS will still work for Oblivion by using the exe or shortcut for Oblivion in it's directory.

no voice isn't in englisht, but the translation is pretty good...
how do you import other mods into nehrim? I want to play as another race but cant get the CS to detect the .esm and .esp
do I just make a mod as I normally would and then just move it to the nehrim folder?

As the description says, my PC keeps moving its mouth as if trying to talk but no sound comes out, I'm not concerned about the no sound part, I just want the mouth to stop moving 'cus its getting really annoying. I thought it was oblivion sound sets but i disabled the .esp file and its still moving... really creepy...

I'm a young person, I respect my elders, I'm looking for a job and I study. It's hard to find a job when people stereotype you as a lazy, incompetent and rude because of how the media portrays my generation. The only real problem is as people settle down and have kids, some will go overboard with raising their kids and companies are cashing in. Hospital soap anyone?
People will always say this when they reach a certain age (I bet people 50 years ago said the same thing about the youth of that day), it is just more publicise that why it seems bad. It may seem harsh but I'm putting this in a gen y's perspective (which is me).

but thats the problem right there, every generation said the one after is getting worse, just because its always being called upon does that mean its wrong? If this trend is being observed over and over again, shouldn't that a concern?

String theory is a quantum mechanics theory, it has nothing to do with classical physics. Plus a lot of physics are theoretical now as the technology required is not invented yet, for example relativity took 70 years after Einstein stated it to be proven. As for your definition of a theory you should really consult your dictionary as theory in colloquial terms are different from a scientific term.
sorry my personal connotation of theory always meant something that is conformed to fit observations rather than something confirmed by observations....

but anyway school here in ALberta Canada is good all the schools i went to had cool, competent and knowledgable teachers rather than the pompous one that the other guy had, only problem with alberta education is how they kept on dumbing things down (removing core topics from courses and removing written portions of diploma exams to save 2 million dollars =.= )

You would do well to add an "other option" mine doesnt fit. :) But yes, I trained as a specialist, I wanted to become a writer and an IT tech, so I studied english and drama extensively, aswell as science, technology, and history. But I had to go to the semi private university elective education/TAFE sector for my education.

In australia teachers are frequently allowed to verbaly abuse children who fail to meet expectations. Furthermore you have to answer the endless tests in a particular way, instead of simply giving the correct answer. I got an F for my science exam once for using string theory not newtonian physics, despite being 100% correct as I often was, being a straight A / A+ student.
In primary school, via an extremely well funded public school, I was bullied often by teachers either on religious or ethnic grounds. Or for simply being too golod compared to the other fools. Simple fact of the matter was the curriculum was intended for children half the age of those actualy taking the tests. Incredibly dumbed down. With "spelling" still being taught in the last year of primary, and 13 year olds being applauded and given A+s for being able to spell three letter words.
In high school it was even worse. Public again, very severe verbal abuse from many teachers, nazi-esque rules. Dress Code was rigidly enforced, and expulsion wasnt a set punishment for certain offences, but a "use at will" power. I saw a girl expelled for wearing a short skirt because her uniform had been rendered unwearable in a rain storm. But according to the masters, she was "dressed like a common prostitute" and "disgraced this honourable school's reputation".l Instant expulsion for "obcene dress code violation" likewise you could and would be expelled for homosexuality (3 expelled in my time) talking back to teachers (2 expelled in my time), or simply failing to meet set grades (8 expelled in my time)
The curriculum was... medieval. Again, just like in primary, despite being secular, all students regardless of faith were expected to pray to the christian's god at assembly and sit through an hour long, sometimes daily speach by the chaplain. I once was suspended for muttering half joking a prayer to Hel during one such prayer session. Hel, being norse godess, was considered heathen, despite my half danish ancestory, and I was banned from showing up for a week for my little joke.
Biology was a farce. You got three weeks of it and all it consisted of was being told what not to do. No premarital sex or god would strike you down with an STD(thats the lesson, I swear by the gods it is, lol.) No taking drugs or you would be left below, likewise for beer. They also raved against video games, and television, for "inciting obcene laziness" You also got no sex ed either. One poor girl got expelled for being caught reading the wikipedia article "human reproductive system" at which point it was decreed that wikipedia was a banend site, and that anyone who "accessed such obcene pornography" would be instantly removed.
Science was virtualy non existant. It was all maths and physics. Nothing to do with evolution, biology, or thermodynamics. No chemsitry or mechanics. Just maths and physics. And only einsteinian physics too, I used string theory once and got an F-.
I left that school before my first year ended. And I did not come back to mainstream education. After being verbaly abused infront of the class countless times, and seeing freinds physicaly abused for failure, I got so sick of the australian education system that I left mid year 8 and went to the university sector.
Here I finaly found civility. Here I finaly found a group who respected man's right to be himself, and respected the wonders of sciene in ALL it's many forms. I took biology, REAL biology, basic vetinary biology, and did the most study of english, language, WORLD history, drama, and the arts that I could, and came out vastly better for it. I also came out having been taught how to assemble computer, fix cars, and work sheet metal, discovering a new passion in the process: fixing broken dead cars. This was an inspiring few years, not a degrading one. I was always treated with respect for my grades, and the class was much more likeable too. We were allowed to help eachother, and it was a genuinely enjoyable time.
This wasnt schooling as you knw it, no year format, merely a bunch of individuals not able to get a regular education, or wanting more, allowed to come and take night classes with respect and dignity. It wasnt put acorss as remedial-far from it, most of us there had either had to leave school early, for a vast array of reasons, or were there wanting to do the subjects they'd had to miss prior to uni.
I only have 1st year physics in my bonkers, but how do you take string theory, which is still a theory and not even proved yet, not only that but its based upon postulates that are only valid on a quantum scale and apply it to Newtonian physics. and besides... loop gravity ftw... NOT THAT ITS INFLUENCED MY DECISION TO MAKE THIS POST!

It comes from are darkest desires and comes in the from of anger and hatred. Shove them in a prison cell with the worst conditions for life I say, they get away with everything too easily if they die.
Now what did you mean by "taste their own medicine..." that could be taken in sooo many wrong ways....
But I agree, this is the time when I wish there was some sort of hero out there to punish the criminals out there, like batman, but merciless to the criminals (batman just never have the guts to take a pistol and shoot the joker)

While I do know that there are a lot of competitive, positive and energetic youths out there, ( like me :P ) there seem to be a whole lot of...others... that are no longer following the traditional values that we held dear just a few decades ago....
What happens when these young adults enter the society? Especially with the declining baby boomers...

Help a noob use skin envelope properly

I for the love of god cannot find a good tutorial on properly skinning and weighting cloths and armor around the armpit and pelvis... Can anyone give some pointers?
Currently I'm stuck with using skin wrap to generate skin data but that doesn't work out too well, and I have no idea how to use the skin envelope tool, theres too many big words and jargons for a noob like me :(
ANY help is appreciated thanks!
