So I'm getting the typical "Floatpointrendertarget is not set to 1 or there are several copies of this file" message after I installed Realvision ENB. I looked up every fix I could find online but none of them are working. To summarize: I've never installed ModOrganizer on this machine, so it can't be creating an extra SkyrimPrefs.ini file that I'm not seeing. I removed the SkyrimPrefs.ini file in Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim/Skyrim to see if that would remove the error message; it did not. I put the file back in place in case it would case me issues, but it doesn't matter if it's deleted or not, I get the error message either way (and yes, the bFloatPointRenderTarget setting in that ini file is set to 1 and not 0). The SkyrimPrefs.ini file in Documents/my games/Skyrim has the FloatPointRenderTarget setting set to 1 and not 0. I've searched every inch of my computer for any other SkyrimPrefs.ini files, and I'm didn't find any. At this point I don't know what else I can do. My modded Skyrim is perfectly playable, it's just that this message won't go away. Any advice on a way I can fix the issue or at least hide the message? I've also attached my SkyrimPrefs.ini file in case anyone wanted to look at it and see if everything's groovy with it.

I just put in a new CPU and mobo in my PC, and as a result had to make the switch to Windows 10. I was able to save all of the files from Windows 7, including my Skyrim folder. Unfortunately, I deleted my old version of NMM and had to reinstall. As a result, when I first booted up NMM it couldn't locate any of the mods I downloaded, either from in my Skyrim directory or in NMM's files (which, it obviously can't because this is a fresh install and there aren't any mods installed), so it told me to locate these non-existent mods or to uninstall every mod from NMM. I did the latter as it didn't seem like I had a choice. So right now NMM is showing no mods installed, but my Skyirm directory has all of my mods sitting there. Skyirm is full functional right now, it's just that I can't do anything to the mods through NMM because it isn't detecting anything. How can I get NMM to look at my Skyrim directory so it can see all of my installed mods and get to detecting all of them? I've surfed through the options menu in NMM and I couldn't find anything that would do this.

For some reason followers (both vanilla and mod followers) can't enter some custom dungeons. Gersonia, Volundr, and Heimfeiger all work perfectly fine, but followers refuse to enter them. Other dungeons like Ogmund's Tomb, Laatviik, and Skyrim Sewers 4 all allow followers. Is this an issue with my mod setup or is this an issue with these dungeons specifically?

How to intall mods with NMM when you also have MO
Inglorious89 replied to Inglorious89's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Thanks guys, changing some settings in MO and updating NMM fixed it for me. -
I installed MO recently so I could get Warzones to work, and while all that is working soundly, whenever I download a mod on Nexus through NMM, MO immedietly takes over and downloads the mod. I prefer NMM, so I'd like to use NMM for downloading/installing mods, but I can't seem to find any options in MO to disable it from automatically downloading mods. Is there a way to turn this feature off or am I screwed?

Skyrim freezes after cleaning up crashing issues
Inglorious89 replied to Inglorious89's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
The steam loader log didn't change when I removed SSME. I also tried changing those values from 1024/256 AND leaving them at 1024/512, and either way the log didn't show that overriding line. I did notice that memoryblock log's Block1 can't go up to 512MB without SSME for some reason. -

Yeah, Skyrim is detecting my 980. And skse.ini is a .ini/configuation file, not a text file. I'd love to upload the file, but apparently I'm not allowed to upload this kind of file, or at least that's what I'm being told whenever I try to upload the damn thing. As for my specs, is it ok if I just post this: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Inglorious89/saved/GtHG3C? If that's not helping let me know. And yes, I recently downloaded SSME and put it in my Skyrim folder. It seemed to just be a drag 'n drop installation, so if there's more too if then I'm not installing it properly. Currently, skse.ini has this in it: -

I have the OnHook and calling winmain lines in the log file, but nothing else. The memorylog doesn't seem to be going over 256, although I did see it at 310 once. Edit: Block1 is reading 512MB, and Block2 is reading 256MB, which should be correct from what I'm reading is correct, but I could be wrong. -

Yup, I've gone through that whole process. Currently I have an skse.ini file under Skyrim/Data/SKSE with those lines in it. Despite that, MemoryBlocksLog is still only showing 512 instead of 256 (which is what I need to make the memory patch work properly, or at least that's what I've been told). I've tried adding -forcesteamlauncher to the end of skse_loader.exe's shortcut, but that also didn't seem to help. Am I right in my thinking of where -forcesteamlauncher should go? Just at the end of the shortcut, then use the shortcut to run SKSE? -
Recently I went through getting ENBoost and some other stability mods for Skyrim going to fix an issue I've been having for awhile: Skyrim CTDing every 5 minutes. Luckily for me, the CTDs have (for the most part) stopped. Unforunately, a new issue has appeared: Skyrim keeps freezing. Where is freezes is usually outside cities where there are a lot of NPCs around, although exact times are random. Sometimes when I'm running away from mobs, sometimes when I'm looting, etc. It hasn't happened in any cities, nor have there been any moments where I've almost froze. The issue improved after I installed my new 980 today, but it's still freezing more frequency than I would like. I heard the issue is related to not having enough VRAM, but with a 980 I think I have plenty (I would hope so anyway). If you need anymore information please let me know. I've been messing around with Skyrim for way too long and I'd like to just get it working.

I have no mods that effect character creation outside of some mods that add more hair styles, but for some reason after I installed Sounds of Skyrim my game enters the character creator endlessly. I removed SoS completely and the issue remains. BOSS also isn't picking up on any issues. Any idea what could be causing this?

Well that's good to know, but it doesn't answer my question about why my game crashes so frequently. I can understand the game crashing because I added an area to a city that's been overhauled, but some random dungeon in the middle of nowhere? Why is that causing CTDs or causing the game to crash when I try to fast travel/wait for any amount of hours (which is happening as well).

Recently I installed a bunch of mods that effect graphics, and now that I managed to get them all installed without Skyrim imploding on itself, I wanted to move to mods that add new cities, dungeons, etc. to the game. Unfortunately, I've only been able to install Ruined Prison and Skyrim Sewers successfully. Anyitme I add any other mod that adds a dungeon, no matter what that mod is (I've tried Gersonia, CastleInvasion, Luftahraan so far), I always get a CTD right before Skyrim loads a save file. As soon as I remove the mod, Skyrim works fine. I've tried removing all of the larger mods I have in case they were conflicting for some reason, but so far that hasn't had any effect. I should also say I have mods that change the appearance of several of the major cities. Any idea what's going on?
