  1. Forgot to add my specs. MB: Asus Sabertooth P67 latest BIOS installed. GC: Nvidia Geforce GTX 670 2GB FTW SC: Inbuild SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB CPU: Interl i7 2600k OS: Windows 7 Professional 64bit I would guess my rig falls into the middle range when it comes to computers. I also heard that enblocal might not work well for cards with 2GB VRAM... which might be a cause.
  2. When ENBboost first was introduced to ENB world it worked like a charm for me I remember clearly it helped out a lot when I first used it. For some reason I can't get ENBboost to work for me at all this time. It seems to not work as it should. I have for the last weeks tried to map out my memory usage by using the memorylog plugin for SKSE. Trying to figuer out why Skyrim CTD at very random times depending on ENB used. At times Skyrim will work just fine with say "Somber ENB" for maybe 20min-30 and the next day without starting any programs up at all except Skyrim it can work for 5min to an hour(ish). Whenever I use another ENB it will have around the same results. I know ENB's is a demanding function to run, but when I read on web that people with close or with same specs as me manage to run the same ENB's I try to use without any clear hickups I get irritated. I am 99.999% sure I have done nothing wrong when it comes to setting up enblocal correctly. It's coming close to the point of me giving up Skyrim with ENB all over again. Back to memorylogs... So I play Skyrim and I do quests and generally play normal until I crash and I pull up the log and I see memory box one didn't even fill half way up and also used SPM and checked the graphs and they don't even come near any danger level in terms of RAM usage. I am really scratching my head at this since nothing in logs be it memory logs, Papyurus or SPM tells me I should have crashed because I reached the 3.1GB RAM border or because of faulty scripts. Tried the stability guides and they give good pointers, but still can't get things to work. Currently I am ditching the full ENB function and testing Skyrim useing the memory fuction to enblocal without the ENB effects and so far it works just fine. I haven't done a prolonged playthrough though with just ENBlocal active I admit. Going to do so in the weekend and if I crash earlier then without say 30min+ then I ditch that and play using just SKSE function and see how that fair. I am also wondering if the SKSE 1.7 or SSME for that matter conflicts in some way with enblocal or the dll file in some way? because I am out of possible causes right now. Or if SKSE memory function maybe dones't work well with ENB? I don't know T_T If anyone cares to read this and maybe point me to something helpful I would be very thankful.
  3. I was asking the same thing why it didn't show up in passive effects atleast and I didn't see any change in the calculated armor rating too.
  4. 70 MB save is stupidly large file... id say try a new save and see if it works. If not then uninstall mods used and do a steam check of the game. Propities -> Local Files -> Varify Intergrity of Game Cache. This will tell you if any vanilla files are missing and redownload and install missing files. Then start a new game and keep and eye on the save file size after a couple of days on playing. Average size for a mildly modded game (40-70+ mods) should range from 4.5mB - 7MB after a few days of gaming. Atleast thats my size increase. And for heavens sake don't use saves where mods with scripts have been removed and reinstalled. It will surely bloat your save fast... trust me.
  5. I have this issue as well... I use the Ningheim Race and I have all the dds handfiles related and I still have weird hands.
  6. I was playing Skyrim about 30min ago and suddenly I froze and a message related to Microsoft Visual C++ was the cause. Full message: ---------------------------- Runtime Error Program: C: R6025 - Pure virtual function call ----------------------------- I searched and found it can pop up at times, but I am not sure if Skyrim is to blame... the "Program:" doesn't show a path to TESV.exe, SKSE.exe or any other exe files that has to do with Skyrim... My PC runs just fine after I closed the window and Skyrim. Is there any fix to this or what can i do? I have no real experience with this.
  7. I don't crash, but I start to lag like a snail have replaced my CPU/GPU, and you might be into something on my part about 2K landscape. Because when I look at the direction of Riverwood and Bleackfall barrow when i am at the plains outside Whiterun I go down to as low as 10 FPS. But when I turn around looking to another direction i.e Whiterun walls etc my FPS shoots to 25-30+ FPS and in townzones as much as 100+ without FPS limit enabled. Have you tried ENBboost? and other CTD fixes related to RAM/VRAM allocations? Sometimes useing texture mods like 2K will make the game fill up memory block too fast for it to keep up... thus causing CTD/frrezing etc. For now I would uninstall 2K landscape and play abit to see if that was the cause... If you still crash after set amount of time in same locations etc after that then it's most likely a memory issue which is not always related to PC specs. And I have close to exact same specs as you... only I have the GTX 670 2GB FTW.
  8. So I want to play Skyrim again, but I need help from the community to pick which mods I could maybe use, but that doesn't create much issues as a whole in game. Minimize CTD or Infinite loading etc. In short... essential mods. Mods: - Race - Textures - Meshes - Interface - Immersion - Utilities etc etc.
  9. I am just posting this to inform anyone who cares. I am off now quitting Skyrim for unknown period. Reasons are because there are too many instability issues related to Skyrim and trying to troubleshoot every problem that occurs is not what I want to spend my time with. It's been a kind of a obession, and it has gotten in the way of my social life with my wife and kids. I have been loyal to skyrim ever since launch and to the whole Elder Scroll series from start to finish. I have clocked combined close to 800 hours so it's fare to say I have been playing for a looong time. I have played through every story missions, side missions and even every random mission the game could throw at you. And every location that can be found has been raided and looted for anything of value. Next time I play a TES game will be The Elder Scrolls Online.. who knows... might meet people from the community there. I might though return to Skyrim again...maybe. ------------------------------------------------------- It's ben a good couple of years. Feel free to look at my pictures and may the community continue to thrive.
  10. I managed to fix the issue... had to rearrang few esp files and disbale 1... now its perfect.
  11. I was wondering if theres any tweaks or mods I can use to fix the shoddy lighting? I use ELFX and ELE from ENBdev... they never caused problems before in interiors.. only in lakeview so far. As the picture shows I have made most of the house done, but the lighting is wack... too dark even with all the lights installed. Would really appreciate if any replyed or send a PM.
  12. Is there any tips to get a good load order recipe? Like texture mods should be at the top or lighting mods should be places between this and that?
  13. I forgot to add that teh only thing i did ingame is to change my carry weight with console command... used the forceav command.
  14. So... I noticed that when I try to load a save.. in most cases quicksave I crash back to desktop (CTD) but sometimes it doesn't crash. Even the auto saves can cause CTD but not as frequent. I looked at my saves and saw that they were bloated (17mb, but i ran the cleaner, it helped abit. Now I started a new save to just see how my game would run then... loading saves still makes my game CTD at times. I looked at the new save files and they are not what you could consider as "bloated" its about 5,5mb. My game ran without any fail until about a week ago... when the CTD issue came crashing. The only changes I ever did before I had this issue, is to run BOSS and clean dirty edits since I ran the "Varify integrity of game cache" in Steam. I also bought Avast Internet Security, but I can't see how that can affect my game. BOSS changed my previous mod order in NMM, but I didn't really think much about it... now I wonder. If anyone could look at my load order and maybe point out what I can maybe change in order to get more stable.
  15. First time I hear about this... luckly I have a stupid amount of security on my pc so I should atleast not get this. Hope you fix it.
