I have no idea if these ideas are ever considered, but I'd be very interested in a mod that changes the colors for the final DLC boss fight. My thought was to change the ground from cream to dark grey or black, change the time of day to night (Enir-Ilim is only day, maybe this should apply only to second phase), and primarily, change the yellow hair to red. In my mind, this should make it so that the player could at least make out what's happening in the second phase. An optional addition would be to also reduce the opacity of the yellow/white light beams that the entire arena is littered with, but I'm hoping it's readable enough with just the above changes.
