  1. Yeah that is food for thought. My original plan sounds good in theory but might be harsh in game.
  2. Iâm planning to update my mod with an effect that makes encumbrance directly affect the players sneak skill. The question is what do you guys think is appropriate, my feelings are something along the lines of this: Every 10 points of weight 50 - 100 hits the player for 1 sneak skill point Every 10 points of weight 100 - 150 hits the player for 2 sneak skill points And so on until 300, if over 300 it hits you for 10 straight off. This will stack so if the player has 300 inventory weight they will be hit for 75 points of sneak. Is that too much? To me if you are carrying that much you can pretty much rule out sneaking. Thatâs what Iâm going for. Do perks become unavailable if your skill is debuffed below the required amount?

  5. Ok. Thanks for that. I'm pretty familiar with the CK but papyrus is outside my comfort zone. Do you know what I need to change on the ini file?
  6. Hi thanks for the reply. Yeah I have done that. As far as I can tell the .pex files seems to be in the correct place i.e. the scripts folder in data and the .psc file is in the source folder in scripts . But for some reason it won't recognise it and compile the script. Obviously I have done something wrong, but damned if I can figure out what. The SKSE .pex and .psc files seem to be in the right place as well.
  7. Hi I wonder if any of you kind souls out there would be able to help me. I'm currently trying to buils and MCM menmu for my mod but I can't get the script to complie when I do the first step of extending the SKI_Configbase. It gives me an error saying that there was no output generated. I have followed DarkFox 127s videos but I stumble at this first hurdle. Can anyone help? Many Thanks
  8. Am I correct in saying that Bethesda cleaned them in an update and then reinstated the dirty files? I'm sure they did because I remember being miffed that they cleaned the masters whenI had previously cleaned mine after it had caused all sorts of strange gremlins to appear. So I had validated the files on steam to get the dirties back, only for them to clean them. Then one day I loaded up the game and my dirty masters were back. Joy!

  10. Hi Guys I am currently trying to implement a stamina penalty for jumping onto my mod. So far everything else I have done has been with magic effects but I can't find a function to apply a magic effect to jumping. I am trying to figure out how to script it but I have literally no scripting skills so I'm finding it quite tough. Can anyone point me in the right direction please. Many Thanks

  12. Hi guys I'm sorry if this has been posted before, I'm sure it has but i can't seem to find it. I wonder if anyone can help me. I am trying to put together a small mod that drains health and magicka etc under certain conditions. I have a dual value modifier to drain health and stamina under the conditions and everything works perfectly...... Until I try to make the player sleep then I get the message "cannot sleep while taking health damage" I am not taking health damage, everything is fully regenerated. if I tick the Recover box, it fixes the problem but the values do not deplete. How can I get round this? I'm thinking a dispel keyword or script but I'm inexperienced with CK and I'm not sure how to do it correctly. Anybody able to help me out please? Many Thanks
  13. Hi guys I wonder if anyone can help me, I have WIC installed for SSE alongside Immersive Armours, Frostfall, Cloaks of Skyrim and Wet and Cold. I have the patch for Cloaks. The issue I am having is that the cloaks seem to be non existent on NPCs in Windhelm etc, I have seen the odd 1 or two being worn but generally nobody wears them, hoods occur on guards quite frequently but no cloaks. When I go into the crafting menus I get no option to craft cloaks but I can craft hoods. I installed through NMM and I have only 1 esp active as requested by nivea. The answer is beyond me. Can anyone throw a bit of light on it for me? Many Thanks
