Oh I see! The tutorial just said to leave it on the auto option. I'll just go and tick all of them then. That worked :D Though the discount is using showbartermenu, which is not what I need since it doesn't really work that great for making him buy stuff from me at a decreased price. I guess it's all I got but I would want him to buy stuff for 50% of what it's worth. EDIT: Actually using -50 worked... The command has apparently been changed since FO3. Hey there! I was just wondering if I can adjust the buy/sell price on a merchant. For example, if I want a trader to take five times the amount of caps for buying stuff, how would I do that? The openbartermenu (or something) [<100-100> doesn't cut it. I want a % cost, if possible. Any manipulating would help though! Also, after following http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php/Creating_a_new_vendor that tutorial, I made a vendor but when I sell him stuff they don't show up in his barter menu, also there are no categories like "aid", "health, "ammo" etc. what's up with that? Hey there! I made me a perk with the GECK. Per usual it gave me a form ID, which is 0100ADD if you're interested. Anyways, it does not want to accept the ID. I tried with another trait that was already made by Bethesda and it worked. Though it won't work with my ID for the custom one! I can select it in the beginning of the game but I don't want to restart just for a perk. That'd be silly. Help is appreciated!

Yes! I'd like this too. You should post a topic in the mod suggestions thread! Very annoying like you say. Sometimes I get the two confused and that messes some things up

Hey there! Hopefully this is the right forum! I just moved on from the Oblivion CS to the GECK. They're very similar though I'm not too experienced with any of them, and I wonder; how do I add perks that the user can pick when he levels up or traits that he/she can pick in the start of the game? I found the geck.bethsoft.com article about it but there's no tutorial or it doesn't tell you how to do it. Searching also only told me how to add perks to a selected target (like at the end of a quest or upon doing this or that). If anyone could tell me how to do this or post a link to a tutorial that'd be great!

Hey there! I recently started reading some 2da tutorials... But I have no idea what to do with the .xls files? Do I open them in calc or some open office program? I opened them in OpenOffice Calc. But how do I save and export these etc.? I have no idea what to do with them and I can not find a tutorial on the subject. If anyone could pass me a tutorial or explain themselves I would be grateful (kudos I guess, only thing I could do really :P) EDIT: This (click me) was what I was trying to do... But the tutorials really sucks. A LOT... If anyone know a better tutorial although it's a bit off-topic just please go ahead and link me if you want. To any of you making a tutorial, tell what and why you are doing what you are doing. Not just "Do this. Do that. Do this and that." No custom classes from me with that tutorial I guess

Hey there! A mod that would change the beginning part of the game with the Grey Wardens would really be a great mod I think.. I create new characters all the time and I am getting sick of doing all that crap in the beginning with meeting the king, collecting blood, treaties etc. Of course the mod doesn't have to be very immersive right now. But it could be improved later on. It could just be a mod for people who know how to do all that already and so it just skips that part and let you start in Flemeth's hut.

The kid thing would be fun if you were just a normal kid and stuff happens. You don't have god powers nor do you know about them, and depending which ending you got you will get a different ending in this game, like if you didn't die you can meet your dad or something? I am really bad at figuring out things like this in my head I am sorry :P But I want Morrigan back! She was awesome, gotta love her personality and wish there were people that sarcastic/ironic/whatever in real life.

Yes it is harder.. For armour the char skeleton may be different For weapons the char skeleton may be different, as well as collision etc.

Didn't surprise me because I don't lag when looking around or as I said, walk in 3rd person view mode Did you try it after changing your character's armor including any gauntlets and cuirass and helm? I know that sounds weird and it's a longer shot than the lighting. It's just a logic possibility, since some of your armor will change with first person view. Nope... I gotta do some school work now but I'll try it out tomorrow... Hopefully it's only for me because if I am to release this it will be messed up..

Hey there! I just created my very own house, but it "laggs" when I walk around in it in 1st person view, it works fine in 3rd person view but in 1st it's a bit... Laggy in a strange way, my character kinda stutters I guess. Got any ideas? They are much appreciated! EDIT: Just though I'd say what I did to it... I added a door with the scale 0.95, added some alchemy stuff with different scales, got 1 book, 1 bed, 3 fat candles copied from another cell and a fireplace
