  1. This sounds like a good mod, especially the eating/sleeping part of it (I'm guessing drinking also comes under this category). Realism FTW! This should help me reduce the number of mods I use. As for suggestions, any chance of being able to get drunk on alcohol, to the point of passing out? How about getting sick from eating too much at once? Since you mentioned socialising, will interacting with NPCs in different ways cause you to gain or lose respect with them?
  2. Hey guys, thought I would give someone the opportunity to develop an idea that was given to me by a friend. Basically, would someone here like to create some Doctor Who themed custom skins for Fallout 3?. More specifically: to replace the Protector with a Cyberman; the aliens with the Sontarans; last of all, the alien droids with the Daleks. Here are some images (in the above order) for those not to familiar with the world of Doctor Who: http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/images/cyberman2006.jpg http://tvmedia.ign.com/tv/image/article/869/869953/drwho-sontaranstrategem_1209408975.jpg http://www.drwhofiles.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/the-daleks-from-doctor-who-and-the-daleks-movie.jpg Sorry about the size of the first one, it was the best full-body shot I could find. Responses would be most appreciated. Thanks!
  3. A challenge you say? I'll hunt around.
  4. Those would make great custom vampires. I think Deadly Reflex already does the injury thing. A mod where different injuries could put stat penalties on your character would be good (e.g. leg injury = speed penalty; arm damage = strength penalty). Can't remember if anyone's done something like that. Your last point could probably be done with a console command. Wouldn't know how though.
  5. Buzzing like a fly!
  6. I wouldn't call Crysis a great story but neither would I call it mediocre. For instance: I definitely would call it a graphics benchmark. EDIT: Sorry about the triple post, having net problems at the moment.

  9. Bought Morrowind GOTY second-hand on PC for £8, best purchase ever. Played Oblivion on 360 but never seem to have the money to get the GOTY version for PC. I've downloaded Arena and Daggerfall but haven't got around to playing them yet. Battlespire and Redguard are totally unknown to me.
  10. Fair enough. I'm actually working on a list of recommended mods at the moment. I'll post it in a new topic later.
  11. First of all: WOW. Apart from one glitch (holstering a sword while wearing your civilian rags would remove the top half), everything runs really smoothly so far. Weather effects were fantastic (the lightning really booms now), and the textures! There is one problem I do have with this overhaul though. All of these trees that have been added are more than likely going to conflict with a lot of already existing mods. Seyda Neen Complete and Balmora Expanded automatically come to mind. That burnt CD I mentioned in an earlier post has mods that add A LOT of new buildings, quests and such to the game and it's a shame they might not work with this graphics pack (although some trial and error selective editing might solve that). :ermm: Other than that, for a first time playthrough with nothing else: go for it! I wish I could get more into it, but it's almost 2:30AM now and I'm off for tonight.
  12. Just going through your installation instructions. Got to the TESTool bit. EDIT: Just finished, let's give it a whirl!
  13. Nah, think we're good for the moment. This file is taking its damned time to unpack.
  14. AdBlock Plus and Ghostery meet my anti-advert needs. File finished downloading, now lets see what we can do with it.
  15. If you say so. Well I've started downloading this behemoth of a pack. Should be done in 40 minutes if all goes well. EDIT: Spoke too soon, my download speed just nosedived. :pinch: EDIT 2: Passed the 50% mark. Should be done in 23 minutes at 500-ish-kbps.
