  1. Not really, as if I could replicate the model in-game then I wouldn't be having this issue! :P The "Desperado Hat", in the base (unaltered) game has the narrow portion of the brim facing to the back of the character's head and the entire hat is tilted backwards, which leads me (and some others) to believe that it was somehow modelled backwards. I was wondering if anyone proficient in altering the components necessary to alter could turn the hat around, 180 degrees, so that the unaltered "back" of the hat now faces forward on character models. You can see it in this image of the hat -- https://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/fallout.gamepedia.com/f/fa/Desperado_cowboy_hat.png?version=62f98527339b8ce1ddc8ffdc9d0518a6 -- the front portion of the hat (the side of the brim closest to the viewer) is wide and flat, while the backside is narrow and tilted. It's kind of like a person wearing a hat like this when it should be worn like this. -- The curved, narrow bit is supposed to be facing forward. In game, it's facing backwards.
  2. So, a *long* time ago (back in 2014, I think) I downloaded a mod that turned the Desperado hat around, claiming it to originally be backwards. Whether or not the model is backwards from it's intended design, I do not know-- I do know that the hat looks 20x better when rotated 180 degrees though. The original question and mod is mentioned here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/519505-am-i-the-only-person-that-thinks-the-desperado-hat-is-backwards/ However, the mod has since been removed from the Nexus. Not sure why, or even who originally put it up, but I just know that I had made it pretty integral to various character roleplays I had. Anyway, I figure that it's a simple enough mod that someone could easily benefit from replicating it and putting it back up. I've absolutely no experience with modding or any of the programs associated or else I'd do it myself. Could anyone make this mod?
  3. I found these while looking around to see if this mod already exists-- this isn't what I mean. I want the standing indoor flags, like so: http://www.flagstuff.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/s/i/size_478x298_crown-full_2.jpg and I don't want more flags, I want the already existing default flags (Railroad, Minutemen, BoS and Pre-War) available in the format pictured above. Thanks, though.
  4. Y'know, how you can sometimes find little flagpoles with the pre-war US Flag on it? As in the verticle-standing, indoors poles that the military and government offices use? It'd be neat if we could get a mod that has that, but for the BoS/Minutemen/Railroad as well. I know that Homemaker has a similar object, but the only object in Homemaker I would use is this, and it's a bit unecessary to download a huge mod that adds 1000+ items just to occasionally use three of them-- that and it conflicts with the newest DLC. I feel like this is super simple, I ASSUME, it's just retexturing the default model and placing it as a settlement object? But I have 0 know-how when it comes to modding, i can barely download mods half the time-- so I'm hoping someone can do this for me!
  5. My "Radio New Vegas" station has disappeared from my Pip-Boy. The other stations, as well as the DLC stations, are still there. Any and all radios in the game that were set to play from Radio New Vegas now play silence (giving the appearance that the radio is broken and does nothing upon being turned on). What particularly confuses me is that I have no mods that would conflict with the radio stations. The most complex mods I have would probably include my Pip-Boy remover (and Familiar Friend pipboy mod).. aside from this, it's mostly retextures and models. Verifying the game's cache hasn't fixed it. It constantly says "One file failed to verify and will be reaquired" or something, but doesn't change the lack of a radio station in-game. Another thing to note is that I do have a mod that somehow effects new games. It (unintentionally) makes it so that I have to type "enableplayercontrols" in-console upon leaving Doc Mitchell's house and I can no longer play the Ghost Town Gunfight quest because Sunny Smiles won't talk to me. I've so-far ignored this as I cannot tell which mod causes this and it didn't concern me, but considering how you discover radio stations upon first leaving Mitchell's house, perhaps this is related. Should I try to delete stuff and get the radio station back, or cut my losses and start with a clean game? Does anyone have any similar stories or suggestions on how to fix this conveniently?
