  1. I have just finished dishonored and while short was [still is] an excellent game. I liked the way that blocking worked in Dishonored and how the enemy could block your weapon hits [and do it decently too] and push blade to blade against your sword then kicking you away sometimes. When modders finally untangle how Dishonored blocking works, I personally would like to see some of the results filter into Skyrim here with the vanilla enemy npcs being able to actually block your attacks and maybe even push against your weapons.

     

    Its a long shot I know ^-^

  2. Anchot Oedehel, sometime trader and warrior from around the Bruma region often travelled from Bruma to the Riften area and calls this region home. However the civil war in Skyrim leaves him no choice but to try and defend his Nord heritage in whatever way he can, and so travels to Skyrim through the mountains from Bruma. However he is captured by an Imperial patrol which joins up with another that has captives with it on its way to Helgen......

    We see a vampire in cell

    We shoot with bow

    We are sad

     

    The fact is that we cannot shoot through prison bars due to a collision between whatever we are firing and the invisible force between each cell bar.

    I personally would like to shoot prisoners, especially if they are too dangerous for me to unlock the door.

  5. Now folllowers can be made to touch the various shrines around Skyrim like talos or mara however when told to activate a guardian stone they will not press it but just stand next to it and gain none of the effects.

    What I would like to see is get followers to use the guardian stones and gain the effects of the guardian stone.

    If you look at the map of tamriel, you will that extra bit of land in the west is part of skyrim too.

    This is looking in the direction of High Rock [towards Jehanna] though I suspect all of this landmass is skyrim still.

  7. Possibly if your character dies you take control of another npc in the same game. Your character dies but what you accomplished such as quests fulfilled and npcs killed stay that way for the new you

    as it were, to continue the legacy of your predecessor.

  8. Alternate Start mod that will skip the beginning, start the player in a small safe-house like cave, that picks up after the attack on Helgen. You choose your backstory such a Smith, Bandit, Warrior, Mage, ect. and meet up with an NPC that can become a companion with his own unique storyline.

     

     

    I must say I enjoyed the alternate ship start for Oblivion so its good to see an alternate start for Skyrim being created.

  9. Ive seen other forums with topics like this and its usually quite interesting seeing what people are working on even if they never finish it.

     

    So what are you working on, mod wise in skyrim? It doesn't have to be finished or released and it may just be for personal use. It doesn't

    matter if you think you will never finish it. Anything goes. Pictures are much encouraged.

  10. There is a book in Skyrim about lockpicking and how an expensive lock is rendered useless by a chest that is not made of extravagent materials.

     

    Id like to see a mod that lets you smash wooden chests if you bash them enough times with a mace while metal ones would be a bit more hassle to open.

    Let wooden doors be kicked in while metal doors would be impossible. Shout them open? Could be based on stamina, i.e the more stamina you have the

    more chance of kicking open a door.

  11. Now the player has several finishing moves and so do the npcs but they don't seem to share them. I have never pesonally wseen an npc decapitate anyone

    so it might be a good idea to let them have access to the players finishing moves if its possible. Mjoll decapitating a bandit or a bandit smacking the dovaahkiin

    in a dramatic way with a mace!

  12. The monetary system in game could be expanded quite a bit I reckon.

     

    First off, septims in game are actually called gold, so that should be renamed. Septims/gold should also be capable of being dropped.

    You see coin purses all around but your player has never heard of them. They should be a container item, where for example you can

    place septims inside [say 50] and then while in the inventory you can extract however many septims from the coin purse as possible.

    All that gold [septims] must weigh something, so I think weight should be added to them.

     

    Maybe even using gold ore/ingots to produce counterfeit septims. Melt down the septims to produce gold ore. Gold weapons and armour?

    Add cutpurses and pickpockets to the game to the game to steal yours and other characters gold if they have any. Maybe even different coins

    so gold septims could equal 10 iron septims or 2 silver septims. Maybe even add banks like a mod of oblivion did.

  13. Crucible 1.1 patch will be out on the 24/01/2012.

     

    A much needed change to assault ships getting extra slots, cpu and a sig bonus to mwd useage is part of it. Null ammo getting a boost, cpu boost to cap

    shield transfers, new invulnerability fields, alliances able to join factional warfare, the full pos changeover to fuel blocks and a few other minor changes depending

    on your pov. Ive already bought some extra enyos in anticipation ^-^.

  14. Someone already mentioned open cities and the first person full body view.

     

    So it has to be open buildings/caves, as I would rather have the taverns have doors that allow me to see whats inside on the outside. Maybe even windows that you can see through to the inside. Goes with other buildings too.

    It would apply to the city buildings as well as [if it happens] open cities hopefully. Open caves too or those caves that are possible. So you actually enter the cave entrance yourself instead of having a loading screen.

  15. When I see the centurions, I note that their armour has some nice animation to it and steam spouting from various places. Id like tos ee something like centurion armour but available to the player with various moving parts

    and some steam but not too intrusive or view blocking at the same time. I hope someone can make something appropriately steampunkish!

  16. Open cities for Oblivion was a masterpiece mod. This is definitely a needed mod and hopefully the people who created the oblivion open cities have it

    planned for Skyrim too.
