So if you are having trouble loading your saved game with your new merged patch because of the " This save data was created with a newer version of the game" message, I have a solution for you. Go to the patch folder, the one that caused you the white screen crash at the finding skyhold cinametic, and open the file package.mft with notebook. Here look at the version number and remember it. Now you open the patch folder from the one that is causing the message This save data was created with a newer version of the game, here you open the package.mft with notebook and you set the version number to the same number that you remember from when you checked the package file from the other patch that caused the whitescreen, and save the file. Now make sure that this folder is named Patch and is placed in your update folder and you are ready to go.
