  1. #1 I tried FNVEdit and it didn't help. (I built the patch and then enabled it in mod manager, before running the game). No matter what I try, I have the very smudgy texture over the pipboy. I cannot even read the "Items" button at the bottom. I tried installing Shiloh DS Clean Pipboy on top of everything, and it didn't help. Please help!!! #2 Also, as I started playing into the game, I bought a laser sight and installed it on my weathered 10mm pistol. I don't see any difference to the piston - I don't see any laser sights. Also, I cannot seem to remove it. #3 I cannot bind anything to key 2 - what's the purpose of this key? When I look at pipboy in game, it has the crappy vanilla texture. Am I doing it wrong? Thanks!
  4. First of all, this mod is HARD. I'm hardly surviving in the game and having trouble eating, drinking, staying healthy, and finding ammo. But I guess that's realism. I wanted to adjust the multipliers for the personal needs mod, so I don't get hungry/thirsty so fast, and so I don't have to eat like 40 things to satisfy my hunger. The mod menu referred to some Addendum file to read about the multipliers. That file had a very vague description of the multipliers, but from what I understood: 1) First multiplier - the higher it is, the faster you get hungry/thirsty. 2) Second multiplier - the higher it is, the more you need to drink/eat to satisfy. So, my 1st multipliers were set to 4.5 by default. According to that file, default should be 1 - so that's what I set them to. I set my 2nd multipliers to 1 as well. Now, I have hunger at 55% and it never changes. Why? What value would you recommend? Thanks!
  5. FadingCeiling I actually redid the mods yesterday and lost the 2 you were talking about. After doing merged patch and that extra step that FOE3edit does, Fallout 3 plays WITHOUT A HITCH. Thanks for nothing, gsmanners. You're full of bs.
  6. Huh? I thought best way is to enable mods and start brand new game? Besides, isn't vault 101 part of game and I'll be coming back there in the future anyway? Still, anything wrong with my load order?

  9. SATMA, on the 17th you had beta 1 2 and 3 of your mod, and on the 18th you had v1 release? Please... I asked for stable mods - I don't want to be your tester.

  11. When I played Oblivion I've managed to amass 20+ reliable mods that gave me awesome gameplay time. I think Fallout mod scene is mature enough for me to "expand" on my Fallout experience :) Can someone recommend a list of MATURE and RELIABLE mods that modify balance, weapons, gameplay, and graphics? So far it seems out of the big ones FOOK is pretty buggy, but what about FOIP connecting FWE (includes CFW, right?) EVE MMM WMK UFP ... would that give me pretty good experience? Along with some nice texture parks (would size rez would you recommend for Radeon 4980?) Is Darnified UI mature enough? Anything else I'm forgetting? I don't wanna go overkill with cool-sounding mods and end up having a beta-test experience. I want a rich gameplay experience that will take away many hours of my life without me having to debug anything. Thanks in advance, for any advice!
