  1. Haha! I got it to work. Had to add a script to the quest and then reload to a previous save before the script took affect. Update: Ha! I think I got it. I had to type in the evp command in scripts.
  2. I did use an existing note and changed the ID for mine. It still won't work. That was the first thing I did was use the AddNote command in the Result Script but it doesn't get added to the Pipboy or anything. I even created a new note from scratch to give with a new ID but the note still won't be given to my character. The note is not tied to any quest or scripts so I don't know what the problem is. I am using AddNote aaaLoriRecipes in the Dialogue Tab Result Script (End). I don't see why this isn't working. Update: Ha! I got it to work. I attached the note to a script and attached that script to an item and it gave me the note!
  3. For some reason, when I initially disable a NPC and make them enable and spawn when you reach a next stage in a quest they don't enable and spawn. I have followed Seddon tutorial to a tee but it doesn't work! I am at a lose with this.
  4. Thing is is that I put the AddNote script in the Result Script (End) and it doesn't give me the note. Do I need to write a new script for the note in the script tab? It shouldn't be complicated. There is no quest attached to this note I want to add so I don't know why the GECK is giving me a hard time with this. I would really like to not use NVSE as the mod is just a simple town mod and not anything really grand.
  5. Whats weird is that I have other notes that are used in the mod but those are tied to the mods quest and they seem to work. The recipe notes I have are not tied to a quest or a script. I wonder if that is the problem.
  6. Well, after passing a speech or survival check, the npc is suppose to give the player a note that will allow them to make some new food. Its just something simple.
  7. I have a npc that is suppose to give the player notes that will allow them to make some new recipes but for some reason she won't give them the notes. I have the AddNote scripts and even tried the player.additem but it won't work. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong.

  9. Uhh.... What green triangle? Update: I think I may have gotten it fixed. I added North Markers to the cells and now my NPC's seem to be going to the places they are suppose to go.
  10. Now I am having other problems. Two NPC's I have disappear when they leave their house instead of doing their packages. They appear a few hours later but seem to disappear from town when they begin their packages. Also, when I convert the esp to a esm all the NPC's do not do their packages and just stand around doing nothing. I am about to pull my hair out over this.
  11. I am in need of help. I am working on a mod that is nearly done but my packages are not working. The NPC won't wake up from their sleep package despite me putting a schedule on it and one NPC will not go into a call that the package I put for her told her to go. My NPC's also won't go into their patrol package or outside sandbox package. I have no idea what I am doing wrong and would greatly like some help into this matter.
  12. For some reason NPC's won't continue to their next line of dialogue or exit unless I force continue by pressing the E key. I have reinstalled my game and everything, don't even have any mods installed, yet nothing works! I have never had this problem before. Could it be something with Win 10 as I upgraded to it a while back? Update: Never mind. I found the problem. I needed to use the FNV 4GB Patcher as I was using the old 4GB.
  13. Yeah! Jokerine! I just need some helps with a few scripts that should be really simple. The first one is for a unmarked where you are too convince a priest to stop stealing a Rangers smokes. Another one is a encounter that happens after you talk to the owner of the towns cafe.The other two are ones where a npc goes to a certain place after a number of days pass. One is where the npc will go back to her home in 2 weeks after finding a note and another is where a former Great Khan will go back to Red Rock if you convinced the Khans to leave the Mojave and tell her to go with them. The final one is if you tell her to stay in town then her outfit will change after a view days. These don't sound really difficult scripts but I am very new to scripting.

Helen Lewis: Age 7 to 9 Jesse and Sherry's adoptive daughter. Edna: Age early to mid 20's Former Great Khan and town guard. Lori Kyle: Age mid to late 20's The owner and cook of the Horseshoe Cafe. Vincent West: Age Mid 30's The owner of West's General Goods. Husband of Theresa and father of Danny. Theresa West: Age Mid 30's Vincent's wife and mother of Danny.   21. Hello, I am making a town mod for New Vegas and have most of it done. Just need to do the dialogue and scripting for a small quest. However, I would like for someone to spell check the dialogue I have written as I am not the best speller. Anybody willing to do this or point me to someone who can would be a great help.

  23. I really love TheFourthHorse THF Bullet Scar mod and wanted to add more scars to my characters face and body. However they always look flat due to me needing to make edits to the normal maps. When I do however the Alpha Channel disappears. I have looked everywhere but I have found nothing that will help me. Can someone please point me in the right direction as I've looked for weeks for anything to help me with this.
