  1. Which mods? What version of the game steam or gamepass? There also may be particular requirements not met for your installed mods. For example I installed SFSE with vortex. However it did not put the required files in the root of the Starfield directory. I had to fix that myself and set the primary tool to launch SFSE to where it should be. Baka Achievment Enabler now works as SFSE is running where it wasn't before, because SFSE was in the wrong place and could not find starfield.exe However there should be files in your Starfield directory depending on whats modified. For example the StarUI mod, there is the Interface folder within the Data folder. Inside that folder there should be this file: __folder_managed_by_vortex
  2. You missed the point of our responses to you in the other thread. You can't control human interactions so that nothing undesirable happens. Also, the Nexus already provides mod authors with tools to prevent mod users from repeatedly engaging in negative ways. I agree that human interactions can't be controlled in the sense of what people post based on their own personal ideals and beliefs, how they talk etc. However, if mod authors have to resort to such extremes, then there should be a change. Now what change that is I don't know? I don't know the fine intricacies of the modding community to make an exact recommendation / suggestion. If there is a cause/ problem, then there is a solution to be made and I think it leans more towards changing user interaction. That is my opinion, I am not an expert. Also the responses I got were mainly based on the point that I was talking about mod authors and not about the user. Hence the point that could be derived from that mainly reflected an antagonistic view that I did not mean to present about mod authors. My brevity is to blame there as I should have explained further and more concisely what I meant.
  3. I agree, it is sad that something like this happens. I certainly think that if users can cause this much stress / angst and anxiety, that something should be done so users don't end up pushing authors away whether intentional or not. Mod authors are human too and like any art works they have rights to their work and dignity. I certainly do have an appreciation for the works of these authors which is why I am careful and read the mod desc page as much as possible. Ex what the author expects from users, permissions that sort of thing. I made a post earlier about how something should be changed and the wording left it to misinterpretation. It was not meant to address mod authors so much as to put owness on what the users can do to make the community better. A change to the site in that sort of sense, like user community guidelines to follow so there is respect and etiquette. So something like this never happens again.
  4. Rather than make a post of the length in reading of reasons some major skyrim se mods that were hidden recently, I will keep this short. There needs to be an addendum to the current permission or license structure that prevents hiding mods due to a minority of users that make complaints. There should be a notice to mod authors about how to handle situations about repetitive issues that some users may make for them. A way to not punish everyone whilst respecting the mod author and to keep the site free of drama that ruins the modding community. The whole modding community should not be penalized for a lack of conduct stipulated by an author that is not promoted visibly on the site. Ex how you should phrase a question or what not to ask? If that is the case should be a disclaimer each time you enter the site or mod page, as it is a safe bet very little people read tos and such word for word. I am not going to reply to this post or clarify. Rather I will let the nexus staff decide the implications of this.
