    Problem With Skyrim CK

    Hey guys, I have a face preset that I would like to use for a follower. I did the SPF ( savePCface "blah" ) and i got my .npc file.

    When I go into the CK to make my Follower and I slected Is CHargen Preset on the first tab and then I go to the Gen Face tab and hit Import "blah.npc" The face preview does not change from the default female face. Even closeing and re opening does not change it. I even wen to the Actor Menu and chose my follower Editor ID and did ctrl+f4 and.. still nothing :sad:

    Hey. I'm new around here. I don't have any modding experience but I want to learn. I was wondering how I could download mods without doing it directly on my pc since I don't have internet at my house.

    Well, if you have access to internet via a friend's house or by going to an "internet cafe",

    then theoretically, you could use a usb stick as a temporary storage device, until you got

    back to your own computer to load the mods it into your game files.

    Hi, I'm new to modding and this forum, new to PC gaming but not console/arcade gaming.

     

    I've played table tennis, pacman, FF etc. back in the 70's/80's/90's then got away from gaming. Since I'm retred now I've had some time to catch up and about a year ago fell fell fell in love with Skyrim. Since I've always worked with or 'in computers' (not tron-like tho) :wink: I'd like to learn some modding.

     

    Appreciate a good starting point suggestion!

    Importing And Exporting Static Objects From Fallout NV

    Hello,

     

    I'm making a player home (well my own revamp of the Motel Room) and I want to edit static objects in Blender.

     

    I know how to do armour but when I import the static object, edit it then export it, it doesn't show up in the geck,

     

    I originally had this problem with the armour but I found out under what conditions I needed to import and export the meshes into and out of Blender.

     

    So my question is: which of these do I need selected and unselected to get the meshes to work in the geck (see images below).

    Nifskope Texturing

    Hey, i made a weapon skin for Fiesta online but having trouble with Nifskope. i can get the item into nifskope but it seems ot be missing allot of options on the left hand side compared to other models i open up. "really new to nif" but anyways im trying to get ym texture onto it, ive got the dds file but idk how i import it or anything. Checked other guides etc but i don't have options like they have i.e the blue flower thing

    Subsurf Modifier

    I am making a model of a pole-axe, and I have created two objects: the head of the axe and the handle. I want to join the objects, but I have a subsurf modifier on the handle. I only want the subsurf on the handle, but any time I join the objects, blender applies the subsurf to the head as well. Does anybody know how to fix this?
