I keep getting an Exception:unknown archive format error when trying to clean my plugins. I am having difficulty location the relevant message log to correct this. Any suggestions?

SSEEdit is giving me a fatal error which is preventing me from cleaning dirty plugins. This is after I allowed Skyrim to update and then rolled it back to SE. I haven't encountered this before so any help or suggestions would be welcome.
<Fatal error: Streaming error>. It then flashes that editing has been disabled.

The UIO mod which organizes the AID and MISC menus on your Pip-Boy suddenly lost its plugin on my saves. Oddly, Mod Organizer doesn't list the plugin as missing. Additionally, nearly all characters, with a few exceptions, have magenta faces and look like they all were exposed to gross amounts of carbon monoxide. I'm not sure which mod is causing that but it's irritating. The plugin issue happened yesterday and there is no updated version to download.
