So I recent got back into skyrim after about a 2 month hiatus and installed a bunch of fancy new mods and started a new playthrough. However I'm having a strange issue, occasionally when casting a spell My hand will show the spell idle animation but there will be no visual effect for the spell and no sound. If i hit the cast button my hand will reflect the cast animation and my mana will drop but there will be no sound, fx and no damage will be done. This happens fairly frequently. Has anyone had a similar issue/know how I can fix this? So basically, I'd like to take some of the Morrowind exploration/town/combat tracks and mix them in with the Skyrim ones. Not get rid of the skyrim soundtrack entirely, just have it play tracks from morrowind as well. Anybody know how I could do that? I doubt it's as simple as just putting the music in folders. Do I need to do anything with the CK? like edit the lists of what music to use where? I know people have added music, i just need a quick and dirty run down of how to make it work. -thanks in advance to anyone who can give me a hand on this :)

Yeah, I kinda got it from your first post that you like to live in a world of "proven facts, period". Kinda like trying to justify your morality by being "scientific" and saying that an incredibly well-made mod like BlackBlossom's is "just lame". In an even better and more mature world, there shouldn't even be mods that could get this company into legal trouble in any country (aside from theft, I guess). one last thing then I'm gone mate, The only proven fact period I REALLY put out there is that uber sexual mods aren't mature. They aren't, you're right maybe it isn't a complete proven fact, but I'd be hard pressed to find someone with a legitimate refutation. Morality has nothing to do with my argument. I want to see mods that add new quests, factions, a new world, even sex provided its contextual and not objectified. Believable characters, storylines, things that ADD to the game. Are the aforementioned things different for everyone? Yea. Of course. Its just really sad that the community at large seems to be dictated by one particular skeleton in the closet, cheap sex thrills. I know no matter what you do, people will make perverted mods, my beef is that literally half if not more mods on this site, FO3N, TESNexus and DAONexus are like that. Its just bothersome to me. Wow. You seem to know very little about human history OR human nature. The fact that you put Nazi mods ABOVE nudity/sex mods is simply mind boggling. You couldn't possibly know the full extent of the attrocities of the Nazi party and why those mods would offend someone if you think simple human sexuality is a worse thing to represent electronically. Again, I'm not for the censoring of either mods, I just had to call you out on that. And as far as you "expecting more of the modding community..." Pfft. Like I said, you know nothing of history or human nature. Mankind has been sexualizing art and entertainment since the stone age. Everything from art to fashion to media. Everything. Since the dawn of man. Go do a little art study on Greek and Roman art. Read some classic novels. Watch a movie or two. Its everywhere. And you "expected more?" Sex is a natural part of human nature, and no doubt a large part of it, but we as a community, and video games as a medium need to treat it with more maturity. And I'm sure an argument exists that it's "realism" but honestly, if that's the kind of realism a person is looking for, they should go out into the real world and throw their $50 into an actual prostitute, its somewhat more rewarding. So I do agree with you, people can, will and should make whatever type of content they want. But we owe it to ourselves to be more mature about the way we handle sexuality. To completely pervade an entire world with naked whores and breasts the size of minivans doesn't serve to advance video games as an art form, it diminishes it. Sex and nudity shouldn't be something you see in every female in the ENTIRE game, it should be something unique and meaningful much like in the real world. Mods like BB and Beware or Animated Prostitution aren't evil or wrong or whatever you think I came off as last time, but they are one thing, bad. They make the game less realistic, less fun, and less believable. If you disagree and that is in fact what floats your boat, I believe the new Leisure Boat Larry came out not long ago. And finally allow me to suffix all of the above with the disclaimer that it is OPINION. Mine. It doesn't surprise me that mods appear for nothing other than sheer sex gratification, what surprises and disheartens me is that it can become the most popular file on a site of over 2 million members. Sex is a good thing. Its essential to being human, however, when a gamer needs THIS MUCH from a game, they should, like I said before, go outside. And oh right, Nazis, I think human tragedy is something worth exploring in video games, in fact, I think a Nazi mod could work, I see it as worse than a porn mod because we learn something from the Holocaust, all we learn from "Big tits nude jane companion v1.1.1.1.1.6" is that you have to make sure you're home alone. The SS Uniforms and Army Men mod were pretty bad, but by FAR the worst thing on this site is that about 50% of ALL the mods are pornographic in nature / concern outfitting your female PC with strange clothing options. SERIOUSLY PEOPLE? Grow the hell up, either go outside and talk to a girl, or if you insist to retain your freak asexuality, please keep your sexual deviance OUT of the mods section. On the other hand, I try to keep an open mind, and I don't advocate censorship, but frankly, I expected more from the community than for mods like Type BB, Beware of Girl or Animated Prostitution to ever have existed int he first place. It's actually kind of funny because every person responsible for making a tits mod the most downloaded on the site is only furthering the stereotype that gamers are agoraphobic dorks.

I recently tried loading a previous save game while I was indoors, and the game loaded an outsoor cell just fine. So is it possible my save is just corrupt and I should just play from that one? I certainly hope not lol, because that save was from a LOOOONG time ago :(

:wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: So recently I tried to uninstall WMK, however when i did so, whenever I would try to leave the indoor room i had quicksaved in, the game would crash while loading the exterior cell (I'm in Rivet City Market btw). So, I thought that by reinstalling WMK, I could fix the problem, however, I had no such luck. So, does anyone have any ideas for me??? Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

I tired that to no avail. however, about an hour ago i did a clean reinstall of F03 and all is well now. thx tho :D

So i recently uninstalled Alexscorpions Pipboy Readius because it was causing some minor glitches with my game. How ever after uninstalling, whenever i attempt to open my pipboy, all i get i my arm flying up to the screen, with no pipboy and no menu. Anybody have any ideas that could help me with this? did i uninstall the mod incorrectly? or is there some change to the .ini i need to make? Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated :D -SN- :ninja:

I just downloaded Broken Steel (a little late right?) and as usual I'm going to move the files to my Data folder so I don't have to go through LIVE. I was just wondering if I need to put the .bik movie files in the Data directory, or if they should go into a subfolder? Thanks guys :ninja:
