Awesome, thanks! Yeah, I use F4SE already (and am glad they updated sometime today) as well as Notepad++. Seems pretty straightforward, just a bit time consuming and tedious, but that's no big deal. Lately, I've spent far more time working on a mod than I have been playing. Hopefully fixing this issue will get me playing more again. If I run into any snags, I'll contact you if I can't get it worked out. My hat's off to you, good sir, and thanks again.

Thanks, chucksteel, that would be great. After searching my .ini files, I realized that the keybinding seems to be hardcoded into the game. Makes me wonder why they did it that way. Just fooled with my load order a bit, but waiting and facial hair options still aren't working, though pressing T to level up does. Hopefully a custom control map will fix the issue because I'm scratching my head at the moment. And thanks again, chucksteel, I appreciate your help.

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with two actions in-game just not working at all. I cannot wait, no matter where I sit, and this includes a "wait anywhere" mod I've installed (Immersive Waiting). The second issue is when I use SLM or sit in a barber's chair. Every option works perfectly except the option to alter facial hair. These are both mapped to the "T" key by default, and at first I thought it was my keyboard, but looking at the amount of t's in this post, that clearly isn't the case. I'm currently working through my list of 203 mods in FO4Edit, but it's slow going. Has anyone else has a similar issue? And if so, how did you resolve it? Thanks for your time. Edit: I just remembered, the "Store all junk" option at the workbench (also mapped to T) works fine, with no issues.

I've only had issues with mods that require F4SE since the update, but I never knew I could update mods in NMM like that. Thanks a bunch, WSChase!

I think in such a case, everything useful would have been taken long ago..but, a hidden military supply bunker underground may not have been found or looted...

I know Modern Weapons Gunsmith Edition has a few of those, but it was taken down recently. I dunno if any other weapon mods have any LMGs.

Hi all. I'm working on expanding the size and scope of my first Fallout 4 mod, but I've run into (what I feel is) a dead end. I'm trying to make the gas masks more realistic and I'd like to add visual overlays in first person that black out a portion of the screen, simulating the view while wearing them. I know that it's possible because the power armor helmets use a visual overlay. What I can't figure out is what field exactly (in the edit menu) governs this overlay. With that info, I could copy, paste, and edit my way from there. Any ideas, guys (and gals)? Thanks for your time. Edit: So I've found the PowerArmorTargetingHUDFXS, which I can copy and use to test my overlay, but one question still remains: How does this FXS "attach" for lack of a better word, to the Power Armor Helmet? I'm not seeing it listed in the Edit window anywhere.

One idea would be to make a small mod that adds certain shipments in areas you'd actually find such items. Dozens of bags of concrete and pallets of wood at a construction site, cases of electronic components at Watts, etc. Heck, add tons of stuff to Super Duper Mart...

Looking for some really good mods to download
AhSeBrom replied to Ryker61's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
What I did was go through the Top Lists (bottom of the page under Files). I went down the list, looking closer at anything that caught my eye. Also, if you're looking for something specific, do a search for it, then filter the results by "most endorsed" or "most downloaded". I think it automatically filters by "most recent" for some reason. -
Or a Bosmer-made wingsuit (cloth, not armored)...It'd be fairly lore-friendly, as the Graht-Oaks of Falinesti are HUGE migratory trees in Valenwood...maybe they use these suits to get from one to another quickly and quietly.

Another idea that could possibly work is to tweak some of the skirts modders have made to work with a male model, then retexture it? I've never done any modeling or texture work, so I have no idea whether it'd be doable or not.

Immersive Armors has a chainmail armor with a kilt, dunno if it's possible to mix and match, though.

There should be a mod that introduces a little bit better loot to urns and sarcophagi at random, but also introduces a chance that a ghost/draugr/insert random undead here attacks when said loot is taken...or a curse is placed on the PC. Or both. Just a thought.

LE Do Jobs in Skyrim wich pay you by how well you did them
AhSeBrom replied to Garul's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
This is a good idea...I'd expand on it by adding any "job" that can be done by crafting/harvesting/smithing, etc. The higher your Alchemy, the often someone comes to you for a potion/poison, along those lines. -
Cicero - Did you kill him or let him live?
AhSeBrom replied to Cynster's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Ever play Oblivion? Ever get the Adoring Fan following you around? Like that, but with people getting killed. Especially since they're the same person. Damn Bosmer. Yes, and I hated the little yellow hershey kiss-head. On a side-note, it always made me feel bad about The Gray Prince...tragic backstory, gives up on life, then dies face-down in the sand of the arena... -
Next setting for the next elder scrolls game
AhSeBrom replied to FeastingCrow's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I voted for Akavir, but have since revised my opinion. Summerset Isles and a conclusion to the Aldmeri dominion would be great choice, as would Hammerfell, Elsweyr, or Valenwood. -
Just got the elder scrolls anthology for free
AhSeBrom replied to wolfpack91's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I never played Arena, but I've played all the rest. With Daggerfall, I just remember that you need to save often (you will be attacked often while sleeping) and in dungeons, I'd advise drawing maps while exploring, the dungeons are large and the corridors all look alike, so it's easy to get turned around. With Morrowind, stay away from Dwemer/Daedric ruins until you're level 20 or so. Same goes for the ash wastes around Red Mountain and wasteland-type areas. Stick to the forested and swampy areas near Balmora, Pelagiad, Vivec, Ebonheart, Hla Oad, and Caldera for a while, until you can take care of yourself. That's all I can remember at the moment. -
Cicero - Did you kill him or let him live?
AhSeBrom replied to Cynster's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Honestly, I thought that no matter what you did, he'd jump up and attack again, so I killed him. May have to do another DB playthrough so I can spare him and see what it's like having him as a follower. -
When I first started playing Skyrim, I took anything that wasn't nailed down, and sold everything one item/transaction at a time to try to level my speechcraft (didn't know at the time that it wouldn't work that way). Since then I've come to take only the items that I can sell, craft, consume, or use myself. As my character levels, I get more finicky as to what I'll take and what I won't.

I realize that, but thanks anyway.

Just thinking back about the old days of Morrowind mods, and I've found myself wondering whatever happened to modders like Carnithus (Carnithus Armamentarium), Qarl (The Underground), C.J. Devito and LDones (The Illuminated Order), and Juniper (The Twin Lamps)...anyone have any idea what happened to these great (IMHO) modders?
