There are so many people saying that it's redscript and red4ext, but the mods that are causing MY game to crash are TweakXL, ArchiveXL, and Codeware. And it's incredibly frustrating because the guy that makes all three of those mods has closed the Posts sections on those mods so nobody can actually TALK about it. Just FYI, the mod authors appear to participate actively in the discord communities - psiberx is definitely on there and provides some ad hoc updates, and there is more active troubleshooting discussion on those discord servers in general than on Nexus itself. However, I would strongly discourage anyone intending to go in there to complain or make anyone's life more difficult. I'd speculate that psiberx disallowed comments on his mods because most of the people using the site itself to communicate probably just come on to complain out of a sense of entitlement, with the inevitable reactionary glut of white knighting from supporters. It's exhausting just reading it - check the red4ext comments that still remain and you'll see what I'm talking about. I mean, that happens on the discord too (one such basic argument is currently scrolling across my discord screen as I type this), but the modders are probably more likely to discuss issues and share information there in real time because the people who authored the core mods can more efficiently collaborate on that platform, so that's where the words happen. As an author, if you have a piece of information to share with the community, it sucks having to go to 5 different places to share it. If it's a hobby to you, you would not necessarily jump through those hoops when there are other aspects of life to be lived. So if you do go in there, go back and sift through pinned posts and earlier discussions before asking questions or making comments, and keep in mind that no one owes anyone anything so communicate politely and with empathy. What I've taken away from the current discussions in discord is that red4ext needs to be updated, and then probably the XL mods in kind, and that this is all happening in conjunction. So they are all working on it together, if that helps.
