    Can everyone please join in showing support to modders by donating? The intelligent among us can help patch up the hard feelings caused by less intelligent people spewing hatred and abuse over this.

     

    So if a bunch of us could donate to chesko and isuko and the skyui team, etc. that should help alot. And not just them, but also donate to people who didn't try out the paid mod system too, like mannygt, elianora, nerdofprey, fadingsignal, hothtrooper, arthmoor, etc. There are tons. I've donated to some that tried it and some that didn't. Because they deserve support and respect either way.

     

    And while we're at it - get a premium nexus membership to support the Nexus too! I just did. Never have before. It's crazy that I haven't because I've been on here everyday for like two years! I'm nod a modder, I don't post alot of comments. I'm just an average intelligent user who loves Skyrim and appreciates the modding community very much.

    there's my current loot log. I also tried going back to a previous MO save (before I added AV, Inconsequential NPC's, Warzones 2015, Real Shelter, Anna NPC's, etc.) and still had the same problem. All the mods I added were working great, game was running great, frames were good, etc. I just come to this area of the map and get screwed. Does anybody know anything else I can try? I'll definitely have to visit this area of the map after every mod change I guess. Or do I need to let cels reset or something? Anything I can try? I know other people have to be using the same mods I am.

     

    The first time this happened my MO build had the majority of the REGS pack mods in it, but this time I didn't use any of that really, except the obvious general stuff. I used most of the same weather, lighting, character body and face mods, enb and sounds stuff, except I added SOS this time. Most of the other stuff I added was the same as last time (AFT, frostfall, cloaks, iNeed, Lanterns, FCO, Inigo, Jaggersfeld, etc).

    went back to level 2. same problem up north of the western watchtower. this time I got the campfire in the sky again. and the round cloud rings. this time there's two other oddities: something that looks like a spotlight, not sure what that is. and more little things that on closer inspection seem to be the tip of a mountain upside down? then followed shortly by getting stuck again.

    ok to update this... I decided to start over on a new MO profile AND a new play-through. I've been at it a couple of weeks and all has been going well.. until now. I'm just up to about level 6 and haven't covered all the map yet by a long shot. But today after passing through Brittleshin pass, and coming out on the north side of it, I go up the road a little bit and see a couple of odd cloud rings in the sky, and immediately thought 'oh no- here we go again'. and sure enough a few steps further and I get the same 'you can't go that way' message, right on the road west of Whiterun. I immediately quit and deacitivate the last mod change I made, and restarted. same problem. cleaned the save, same problem. loaded a save farther back in the pass and played through, and same problem when I emerged. The first time I saw the rings of clouds, I also saw a campfire way up in the sky.

    can anyone please shed some light on this problem?

    Just restarted at Dustmans Cairn, and went around the west end of those mountains, and north clear up to Morthal and then on west to Solitude. Lots of action along the way. Ended up lagging out and ctd'ing after leaving Solitude and riding west. So mostly going fine except for that dead zone in the middle of the map so far....

     

    played some more last night and went down to Falkreath, and then checked out the border gate near there, and all is fine down to there. then went west all the way to Markarth, with no map problems or crashes whatsoever. I do still have the problem of the vendors inside the gate missing there carts or stands and all their goods. they just lean on air. I'm using ETAC and JK's Markarth. I tried turning off JK and went back in and that doesn't change that. So something must be messed up with my ETAC for Markarth I guess. I'll mess with that more another time.

     

    but anyway, the good news is no map problems anywhere south, southwest, west or northwest that I can find.

    well, I just played a bunch more. still have a bad section of the map. this time I traveled down through riverwood and helgen with no problem. fast travelled to riften with no problem, but then had a ctd when I tried to save. restarted at riverwood, and ran into impass trying to pass to the east of the mountain west of fort greymoor. was able to turn around and go around the west side of it and north. ran into impassable terrain as I approached the silent moons camp. .. so the same basic area as before. I noticed no unusual things in the sky this time going from that direction... I'll reload and see if I can get out west to Markarth and Morthal.

    Have gamebreaking bug - can't move any direction on map

    Hi All,

    I have a heavily modded game, and have been playing and modding constantly for a couple of years. So my problem is definitely mod related, not hardware or anything like that.

     

    current problem:

    I can start the game, load a save, play for a bit, but when I travel west from Whiterun and then turn north by fort greymoor, cross a bridge and a little bit after that I get stuck in the road, with a 'there is nothing but wilderness that way' message. At that point I get that message no matter which way I try to go. My followers continue to move around normally. I also see odd circles in the sky, and the image of a tower up in the sky when I turn back south. I think there were a few other graphical glitches in the sky as I left Whiterun. I also tried fast travelling to a few different places instead of going up that road, and get ctd more times than not.

     

    I've tried several different savegames, with different characters even, and get the same result, so it's not save related.

     

    As I mentioned I have heavily modded the game. I've been using MO for quite a while now, and this profile is my big one with everything I want in it. Started with STEP extended, then added most of REGS, then weather and lighting, then a crapload of other stuff I like. I have been playing with this basic build for a few months (with constant little changes and updates). The most recent changes I made were the new unofficial patches (but I had the problem before that), added Peltapalooza, Shezries Old Hroldan town, used SMC to make a giant texture mod, and updated whatever mods had updates recently. I would guess it would have to have something to do with a recent mod change, or combination of mod changes. I searched for a bit and can't find anyone mentioning this same type of problem.

    I have the same problem. just showed up today. tried reinstalling hd fire effects, didn't help. I'm also missing the flames in the big fire in Jorvaskaar, but I have flames on torches and in breezehome.
