Has anybody figured out how to change reflex color?

Oh yes! thank you. I was curious about the floats, but I was looking for 0-255 range values. -
Has anybody figured out how to change reflex color?
thehiddenedge replied to thehiddenedge's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Good advice, but that was one of the first places I looked. In fact that's where I found the texture. The color code it lists for the dot is unused. Now that could be the right place, and since you mentioned that's how it worked in Skyrim, I'm inclined to believe it is. It could just be that NifSkope isn't reading the mesh correctly. I think I remember reading on the github page that the mesh structure was a bit different than in Skyrim so there's still issues. -
I came across this thread while searching earlier. I just made a mod that does this. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4979/?

disable auto reloading when switching weapons
thehiddenedge replied to BoromiRofGeo's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
I second this. I asolutetly hate auto-reloading. Having those oh sh*t moments where you realize your empty adds to the tension of firefights. If only we had proper bolt lock animations.. -
I actually read somewhere that beth had implemented a working python console into the terminals, but decided to remove it before release. Damn xbox and ps4 casuals ruining stuff.

Change pipe rifle hand placement
thehiddenedge replied to thehiddenedge's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
anybody? -
This was part of project nevada. I agree, it was a very useful feature and actually made more sense than wasting valuable stealth boys.

This is kinda already a thing. Look for BOS suit retextures. One of them used the color scheme. I can't remember which one it was though.

Weird thing is.. I've been using the console to lock the door to my house when I leave and when I get back I'll have a settler or two polishing my power armor. It's like they spawn inside or clip through the walls somehow. Also, containers aren't even safe. During raider attacks, I've seen settlers go up to my storage chest, take out a new gun then go about their business, and they also like to "borrow" a fusion core, hop in my power armor and then ditch it somewhere.. what a bunch of assholes..

This shouldn't be too hard I think, but I'm not too sure where to look to do it myself, so help is appreciated. All I'm asking for is to change the first person pipe rifle hand placement to use the actual pistol grip instead of grabbing it by the stock. If you look at it in third person, you hold it by the grip like a normal person, switch to first person you hold it by the stock. Makes no sense to me, especially because there's no way to pull the trigger in that position, but I guess "it just works". What's even more perplexing is that when you aim down sights your hand actually shifts down to the proper grip. Why doesn't dude just hold it normal to begin with. Now here's the thing, the pipe revolver rifle, which uses the the same stock and barrels, doesn't have this problem. The hands are at the proper ten and two; no weird, unnatural looking arm in your face. It might just be as simple as making the pipe rifle use the pipe revolver rifle hand animation. I'd do it myself, but like I said, I'm really not too sure where to look. Help me out with this minor annoyance, and there's two hundred caps in it for ya and one truely grateful wastelander.

taking raider power armor isnt stealing
thehiddenedge replied to xXDoublexAceXx's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
you can use the console to make it yours. Click on it, "set ownership" viola, you got you one new set of power armor, cause.. you know.. the 20 other sets you find aren't enough. Seriously though, I don't get what bethesda were thinking. You can violently murder the guy with a flaming sword and everythings just peachy, high fives for you, but you try to take a dead mans power armor, shame on you, you despicable bastard. -
What happened to the Realistic Bullet Cracks Mod?
thehiddenedge replied to Zachriel's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
The mods page may be gone, but I still found it here.. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/602/? I think it was everything in data\sound\fx\bullets\ -
This isn't quite the same, but until we get the geck... the first rank of the local leader perk (6 Charisma) does this same thing to an extent. Just assign a settler to a supply line (Q) between two settlements and the inventories are now shared. It's best if you try to chain them together instead of having them all linked to one settlement.

I play at 100 FOV which is a vast improvement, but it bothers me that some sights on weapons still have so much zoom to them. Normally I prefer to just use iron sights but some of them are terrible imo (pipe gun). If someone could make a mod to change the FOV for individual weapons and sights or atleast point me in the direction of what I would need to do I would greatly appreciate it. I have a decent amount of modding experience, but it's been a while since i've messed with the creation engine.
