Thanks for your reply :) I think you're right - unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to set their armor type in Creation Kit. I can choose what he wears thanks to 'Immersive Amazing Follower Tweaks' (and the original AFT mod lets you do this too) but I was just trying to set it so that it would happen for people who don't have one of these mods. No matter, I'll just have to recommend it on my mod page when I upload him. I still have to do some more fiddling around with his Combat Style and possibly AI Packages to get his weapon usage right.

Thanks for the suggestion :) I think that will be worth trying out! It is a bit of a shame that they are just free to take but I suppose you get follower horses free in Convenient Horses anyway!

Thanks for the response. I know, that's why I'm still using Convenient Horses right now. However, I'm thinking about switching to immersive horses instead which is why I need to be able to more easily purchase horses.

I'm in the process of making a follower. I want him to be an archer who wears only light armor. I've already created a combat style based on the csHumanMissile one, but I was wondering if AI Packages could give me some further control? Ideally, he would use a bow like 95% of the time but switch to a dagger or sword ONLY if enemies surrounded him. However, I don't think this is possible. In his combat style, I set the equipment score mults for ranged to 9.0 and melee to 1.0. I also set the Fallback mult to 10.0 in the close range tab. However, I noticed that if I want him to carry a two-handed weapon then he would use this in close combat which I really do not want since he has no skills in two-handed and that's not the kind of guy I want him to be. Is there any way I can tweak this or would I be better of simply setting the melee equipment score mult to 0 and have him a bit stupidly using a bow in 100% of situations? Also, is there a way I can set his AI to ONLY wear Light Armor? I want him to carry Heavy Armor but not equip it since this defeats the purpose of his class and skills. I'm really not sure what should be in the AI Packages tab for Followers, so far I just have the DefaultSandboxCurrentLocation1024...

If anyone else knows of a mod that adds more horses to the vanilla stables and/or adds a stable in Riverwood, I'd still like to know!ðð

Thats really helpful :) Its a bit of a shame that the major stables only sell 1 each and it would be nice to have stables near Riverwood too but this mod may actually make it possible to use Immersive Horses! I make my own followers - 1 in Riverwood and 1 in Whiterun you see. And I always buy my horse from the Whiterun stables which would be when I want horses for my followers too. This mod is definitely worth trying, it might be alright just having to make the short journey to Ivarstead for their horses :) Thanks again

I've been thinking about making the switch to the 'Immersive Horses' mod but one thing that means I definitely won't be switching just yet is that you can only buy 1 horse per stable. I want to be able to go to Whiterun and buy 3 different horses at the same time, 1 for me and 2 for my followers. I don't fast travel and I dont want to have to go to another city before I'm ready to just to get horses for them. But I also cant stand them following miles behind on foot while I ride my horse - we need to all be riding at the same time and from the same place. Does a mod exist that makes multiple horses for sale at each stable? It would also need to be compatible with Immersive Horses.

I've always hated how you open up a skill book and level up just by opening it.. Its really unrealistic and immersion-breaking. Does a mod exist that makes it so you have to read the book first, like so the level up happens on the last page of the book rather than the first?

Thanks again, thats also really helpful :) Yeah I was going to say..I didn't really want to be turning G-sync off so great, I'll leave it on! :) I'll have to use NVIDIA inspector more and add a cap if problems persist. After doing some more careful reading of STEP, I've found that increasing ReservedMemorySizeMb in my enblocal.ini may help with my stuttering. I wondered why Tetrachromatic ENB was smoother than RealVision - turns out that option in the enblocal.ini for Tetra is set to 512 whereas the default for RealVision ENB is less than this, so I've bumped it up to 640 and even though I've done a clean reinstall and got rid of all my textures now, it seems to be smoother...I'll just have to see what happens when I put my textures back on and perhaps I need to keep experimenting with my enblocal.ini.

Thank you, thats really helpful information. It seemed like my game was totally screwed so I've done a clean reinstall (thank god I was only doing a test run!). So if I run into the problems again, I'll definitely take your advice into account and I also need to read STEP more in depth.

Oh right...I thought G-Sync was supposed to improve microsuttering. So should I turn off G-Sync and/or V-Sync? I believe I have already turned off V-Sync and I have tried to cap my FPS at 60 using the ENBlocal.ini, how else can I cap the frames?

So I've been retexturing Skyrim and testing it out and everything seemed fine in the process but now I'm noticing microstuttering and very frequent and very heavy seemingly random lag spikes. My PC: intel i7 6700k 4GHz MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X 8GB 32GB (2x16gb) RAM 1TB SSD 4K G-Sync Monitor Windows 10 I play in 1080p and get 60fps most of the time, even with pretty much every single 4K and Parallax mods I can find. I'm concerned that it is due to Windows 10 capping the VRAM usage to 4GB but I have no way of monitoring my VRAM usage because every program I've tried which allows this either doesnt work with Skyrim with enbseries or makes Skyrim crash at startup. I'll be walking along or turning around and sometimes I drop from around 60fps to as low as 15fps! It happens in certain areas e.g. near Whiterun Stables but when I try to look for any patterns where these lag spikes occur, I can't notice any. Does anyone have any ideas what might cause these lag spikes or better, have any idea how I can fix them? I've tried playing around with ENBoost but to be honest, I'm not sure which lines of my enblocal.ini are essential and which I need to change..I don't want to mess up my ENB so if anyone can help me with that too that would be great. Thank you! Its still quite complex but it all makes a little more sense now. I do get 60fps in 1080p so thats not a problem anyway and I havn't had any issues with the VRAM so far, I was just a little concerned that I can't use half of my VRAM but if its not a problem then its fine. I am using SSME and I'll have to try ENB Boost. I was probably being dumb but I didn't think you could use it with an ENB so thats why I've never tried it before.
