  1. One of the most popular guild overhaul mods currently for SSE is Penitus Oculatus, which allows you to kill Astrid, get recruited into the Penitus Oculatus, and get some follow-up quests to take down the rest of the Dark Brotherhood, which incidentally also awards you most of the unique items you miss by just doing the Vanilla destroy quest. While this is a good mod, I find myself wishing I can still join and experience the Dark Brotherhood questline, but still destroy them by taking them down from the inside. My suggestion is not over complicated because it would use most of the Vanilla assets, but it adds just a few extra things along the way. The quest-line would start the same way as it does in Vanilla, where upon investigating the rumor of Aventus trying to contact the DB, you end up killing Grelod and are kidnapped by Astrid. You choose to kill one of the captives, but after receiving the password from Astrid upon leaving the shack, you get a letter delivered by courier from Commander Maro informing you that he has had agents watching the shack due to suspected use by the DB, and he knows what transpired there. He invites you to meet him at the Penitus Oculatus outpost in Dragon Bridge, Upon going to meet him, he instructs you to atone for the murder, you can be deputized as an agent with the task of infiltrating the DB in order to 1) find and bring to justice those who is putting out murder contracts, 2) uncover any plots against the emperor, and 3) to ultimately take down the DB and destroy them. Upon agreeing to this, you are sent to the Falkreath sanctuary to begin earning their trust. To do this you just progress through the vanilla DB quest-line. However, you would have to report each new contract you receive to Commander Maro, who would give you some supplies/advice. You either choose to kill the contracts you are given as an "ends justify the means" type of deal, or have a special conversation option to warn the target, and that they need to flee to Dragon Bridge, where they are kept safely hidden inside the PO outpost. You could even have to plant some evidence to make it look like you killed them, such as planting a charred corpse, some human flesh + skull, or whatever. Once being promoted to the rank of Listener and getting the quest to kill the Emperor, you need to progress a little further (in order to continue collecting the rest of the unique items), you do this under the guise of learning how the DB plans to execute their plan. You would kill Cicero upon Astrid (and Commander Maro's) orders. You would kill/warn the gourmet. You would then be given the mission by Astrid to kill the Emperor (the decoy), instead when you report the plan to Commander Maro, the "Betrayal" quest where you return to the DB and find Astrid has sold out to the PO begins. If you did it this way, the only difference would be the PO attackers would be friendly to you, and quest ends with Nazir and Babette surviving to regroup in the Dawnstar Sanctuary. Once there, they continue their plot to kill the Emperor, leading you to finding the new location of Amaund, then boarding the Kataria, not to kill the emperor but to make an official report about Amaund and get his orders. He asks you to kill Amaund, using some tweaks to the dialogue of the vanilla quest. You then leave, kill Amaund, and finally finish the job by executing Nazir and Babette in the Dawnstar sanctuary to finally wipe out the brotherhood for good. Doing it this way would ensure you experience 90% of the DB quest-line and have a chance to obtain all the unique items from it, while still wiping out the DB in the end. If anyone does decide they'd like to design this mod, I have an idea for tweaking it so that you could start the quest without having to kill any people (including Grelod) as well.
  2. It seems Sappho's Daughters is the only mod that takes care of this, but from what I understand, it's only for f/f relationships, correct? There are not m/f mods out there? How hard would this be to do if I wanted to make a mod like this for my own use?
  3. Â No. The closest thing I can think of is something called 'More Options at the Pearl' which adds some out-of-context sex cutscenes for a few NPCs. Â As to why such a mod doesn't exist? Most modders make things they want to see in their own game. And cutscenes are difficult to make, and even more difficult to do well. Thanks, I actually just realized the More Pearl Options mod does add extra options depending on the players Origin. I just wish they would play at the appropriate times instead of as if the Warden is telling a story of what happened. But still, it is a bit better than nothing I suppose. The Human Noble's night with Iona was fone pretty well. Not half as bad as some of the other's.
  4. I find that a little unlikely as you can openly flirt with her and kiss her already. If she is underage, that already crosses the line. On a side note, I did find a mod that adds the scene for Gheyna. Strange that she seems to be the only one to get a mod author's attention.
  5. Why is there not a simple mod that will change all the "fade to black" scenes in the game into actual sex scenes? I've searched all over for mods that would add the scene for Gheyna, Mardy and Teli, Iona, Isabella, etc... Even adding ones for Bella and Kaitlyn in Redcliff would be nice. Does anything like this exist?
  6. Cool idea about joining the college to better hunt Daedra... I like it. I think I'll have to go with that. Now just need to find a house mod that displays "trophies" of things you've actually killed... I wonder if there's anything like that out there.
  7. No worries, I found an old version of the mod off of the nexus via google searching a bit.
  8. I recently decided to do a clean build since I'm starting over with Mod Organizer. So I deleted all my old mods. One that I've had for ages is the "Marry Me" mod, but now it's gone from the nexus. It still turns up in Google, but the link is broken. This was the best mod which basically allowed you to marry anyone you wanted. Anyone know where I can find it?
  9. So I finally got to the point where I decided it's time to scrap all my mods. Some of them were so old that my game was getting full of random bugs. I've also gotten the Mod Organizer instead of the NMM, so that should keep things more easily organized in the future. So I've reinstalled Skyrim completely. I'm needing recommendations on what kind of play-through I should do this time. This is purely for RP purposes. In the past I've done a holy Paladin, dark Paladin, Assassin, Orc Chief, and your typical Nord warrior... none of these were really 100% play-throughs. I've thought about doing a Wood Elf hunter, who joins all the random guilds to become a better hunter of different beasts. Like he joins the Dawnguard to hunt vampires, joins the war to hunt humans, becomes dragon born to hunt dragons, joins the Dark Brotherhood to fine-tune his people hunting, obviously he'd join the Companions... Can't really think of a reason why he'd join the College though. I've also considered doing a Lore Master mage, who joins all the different guilds to collect lord and various magical and mysterious artifacts. This is the best reason I can think of for a character who would join all of the guilds... Companions being the most difficult for mage. Any other suggestions??
  10. I'd like to get into modding. But I'm wondering how much of a learning curve is there? I'm mainly interested in making my own housing mods, since every single mod out there always comes "close" to what I'm looking for, but never completely. I've a knack for interior design, so I'd love to try making my own interiors. But I hear all sorts of things like "nav mesh" and making your own textures. How long would it take for a total newbie to learn and execute a great housing mod? Is there any coding that goes into it? What skills other than a knack for interior design are needed?
  11. Thanks, but to get to the point where others already are in terms of skill would take me forever. Still hoping someone would pick this one up.
  12. For those of you unaware, the stronghold building aspect of this mod has been completed since it was requested several months ago. The other aspects like recruiting orcs from around Skyrim and finding wives, etc isn't there yet. But the author intends to include a few quests in the future. Here's the link to build your own stronghold. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64038/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D64038%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D2702384&pUp=1
  13. I'm wondering if there's a website, or some community where talented modders can display their work, and be hired to take on project requests. I suppose it could be done through here on the Nexus, but other than contacting talented modders directly and asking them, there's no way to see if someone's free or not.
  14. There are plenty of mods which allow multiple followers. Just go around recruiting what ever animals you can.
  15. You can build as many or as little add-on as you want with Lakeview Extended. Also, you don't think adding guards to your towers and all over your grounds aren't significant changes? Lol. Generally, acting like a dipshit to people you're asking a favor from is a bad idea.
  16. I'm still hoping someone talented will pick this up. I'd learn to mod myself, but don't even know where to begin. And I doubt I'd have the flair for interior design which some people naturally have.
  17. You should really be using a mod manager. If you're not, you're going to keep uninstalling and reinstalling.
  18. What's wrong with RS children other than the fact that it doesn't have elf or beast children. I use RS Children along with Tokkimoon's More Adoptable Children, and I'm pretty satisfied. I wish there was a good option for Argonian children, but there simply isn't at this point.
  19. Alternate Start mod has an option to start as a bandit or foresworn. Either way you start with a camp of friendly bandits.
  20. There is a start for them, but that it hardly adds anything to an necromancer RP. It just spawns you in black reach with some gear. Yes, the Necromancer one is weak. What I did for my Necromancer is I started as the Warlock's Thrall. You basically found a ring that has magic resistance and it breaks the spell the Necromancer has put on you, so you regain control of yourself. I killed the Necromancer and stole their robes. I'm RPing that basically, since I've been a slave for so long, I don't have any memories of my former life. I learned some spells from my former master, and now am becoming a Necromancer myself. The start location for this is near Shor's Stone in a cave, so you start with a ready built lair. Or if you wish, you can journey to the College to get more training. Another option is to start as a Vampire, and you start in Mara's Eye Pond lair. Or you could even do the shipwreck start since you can loot the corpse of a Thalmor to get quick mage gear. It really just depends on your imagination. Several of the other starts could work as well.
  21. You should check out Lakeview Extended. I has the option to build a lot of add-ons, and one of the addons is a guard house with guards. It's an amazing mod. Perfect for a thief type character who has struck it rich and now owns a Manor on the lake. It has the feel if wealth and luxury. You can add walls, a dock on the lake, a pool with a bar, etc. All come with npc servants. The best part is that you actually have to build the Manor first before you can add all the extras.
  22. Do you use the alternative start mod? That one alone adds a ton to immerse role playing. Ive dobe playthroughs where I start out as a Vigilant of Stendar and one as a hunter who wakes up at their camp in the woods. But there are others where you can start as a necromancer in a cave, a vampire in a lair, or even as a thrall.
  23. Stealth is already extremely overpowered in this game. O.o
  24. There are currently not any house mods which are situated around Hircine. Hircine is the Daedric Prince of the Hunt, and also the giver of the gift of Lycanthropy. I would love a house mod designed around hunting, werewolves, and Hircine. There are several Hunter's Cabin mods and a few Werewolf Lair mods, but none that combine the two. Werewolf mods don't have to be all about the monster. The gift of Lycanthropy is something given to Hircine's favored servants to better aid their hunting skills. I would like to see a mod which is less about "OMG WEREWOLVES ARE MONSTERS LIVING IN A CAVE", and more about the hunter aspect. Wolves are some of the best hunters in the wild. I envision this Lodge being large enough to include all the things you'd expect to find in a hunter's lodge, as well as have enough room to house followers and children. I envision it being located somewhere in the heart of the forest near a lake, pond, or river. Things which I would love to see in a mod like this: -Trophy Room/Display Hall - Displays of all your greatest hunts. It would be amazing if these had to "built" like the hearthfire home trophies. So you couldn't add a Troll Trophy until you have a Troll Skull and Troll Pelt in your inventory. And you couldn't add the Hagraven until you've killed on and have the feathers and claws. -Kennel - Several dogs which could be recruited as followers to aid you in your hunts. The huskys from Dawnguard, some wolves, and the war dogs, could all be included. Imagine hunting the forests of Skyrim with a pack of dogs. -Secret Shrine Room - A shrine room to house the Totems of Hircine which are usually in the Underforge. This area could as be used for discrete werewolf transformations. -Followers Cabin - A small cabin which is on the Lodge's grounds but doesn't have to be a separate cell with a loading screen. Remember this mod would be around the theme of the "outdoors" so the cabin could just be a shelter with several cots, furs, or sleeping rolls. This way, followers could be assigned to live there, and they would sandbox around the ground during the day. -Master bedroom and children's rooms - Around the them of hunting, so lots of furs, mounted displays, weapon/arrow racks. -Meat butchering shack - with some deer carcasses on the table ready to be butchered with maybe a cooking/campfire outside. -Fisherman's Shack and Dock - since it would ideally be located near a lake or river, a fishing shack with a dock and small boat near-by would be great.
