Hello dear awesome people. I've always been interested in creating my own world space with the Oblivion engine but I never really got around to it because my computer would always crash when I was working with the CS heightmap editor earlier... So I'm just wondering, if you want to create a world more than what is shown in the heightmap editor (is that one quad?), do you have to use photoshop to crop the separate heightmaps together afterwards? And do you have to spend hours fixing leaks and other errors? I'm very willing to do that, but is it really as complicated as one would think to get a world approximately the size of Skyrim, seeing as I have little to no knowledge of cropping together heightmaps in photoshop? Just need someone experienced to give me tips here. Thanks in advance! P.S: If it seems like I'm complaining about having to work a lot with a world, know that I'm not complaining. I would be willing to spend all the required time in order to get the world's landscape up and running.
