The typical landscape editor? Isn't that a real drag to use when you want to create bigger world spaces? I mean, unless you want to spend 1000 years doing it :tongue:

Hello dear awesome people. I've always been interested in creating my own world space with the Oblivion engine but I never really got around to it because my computer would always crash when I was working with the CS heightmap editor earlier... So I'm just wondering, if you want to create a world more than what is shown in the heightmap editor (is that one quad?), do you have to use photoshop to crop the separate heightmaps together afterwards? And do you have to spend hours fixing leaks and other errors? I'm very willing to do that, but is it really as complicated as one would think to get a world approximately the size of Skyrim, seeing as I have little to no knowledge of cropping together heightmaps in photoshop? Just need someone experienced to give me tips here. Thanks in advance! P.S: If it seems like I'm complaining about having to work a lot with a world, know that I'm not complaining. I would be willing to spend all the required time in order to get the world's landscape up and running.

Oh I see, well I made my own .esp that people could download and use additionally with Zedar.esm and Zedar.esp if they wanted to. I'll look into it, thanks!

This might be in the wrong forums but please move it if it's wrong. So I downloaded ''The Lost Province of Zedar'' by ThePriest909 and am filling out the world a bit with dungeons, enemies and natural locations etc. (With permission of course) But whenever I try to place leveled creatures in the world they appear in the level editor but when I play the game they won't even appear? No matter how many I place or whatever creature type it is it just won't work. Anyone know what might be wrong here?

So I've been playing the same old vanilla Oblivion for a while now and it's getting rather boring. I mean, the landscapes are kinda dull. Could you guys referr me to mods which would enhance my experience outdoors? Like, mods that change the landscapes? Also which is the best monster overhaul mod in your opinion? MMM, OOO, War Cry etc? Thanks for any replies in advance.

Hello people of this wonderful community! I am in the search for mods that will make Oblivion feel like a hardcore roleplaying game, by using mods. But i cant for the life of me find out which ones i should use! My friend is always talking about these awesome mods like being able to send notes to some parents or something... But he never shows me where the mods are and such, or what their names are. So can the people of this excellent site help me find some ''Hardcore'' Rpg mods and mods that make the enviroment generally better (Any mod except Unique Landscapes)? Any number of mods are appreciated, i will give them all a try. Hello there. To my knowledge there isnt actually any modeling programme like Blender, nifscope, 3dsmax etc. That are easy or fast to use, you'll just have to do baby-steps and then become better and better with time. Like they say, Rome wasnt built in a day ;)

Actually, i was thinking of like, outdoor constructions. Any ideas on one of those?
