Same story with me, almost. I have no mods, I load the game, it gets me to the birth scene and freezes indefinitely (cannot alt+f4, Ctrl+alt+delete, only sign out of my computer) every time at different points in the birth scene. I uninstall from steam and reinstall, same story. I download the community patch from May and install it, run the game, it now freezes indefinitely in the same way before the scene even starts. Infuriatingly frustrating. :/
