I'm not sure if this is the right category to post this question since i'm not sure whether it is the mods fault or not but it occured for the first time after installing it. I've been to Ivarstead when it was assaulted by a Master Vampire and two Hounds, right after dealing with the Occultists. All the townsfolk ran to their homes/the inn like intented, but when i started attacking the Vampire together with the Guards he started saying things like "Hey, watch it!" and "I'm on your side!" while still fighting the guards as usual. Even when i didn't stop attacking him, he just kept ignoring me. So now i want to know if anyone experienced similiar problems with this mod or without it and if or how its fixable. I'm not a vampire currently and encountered other vampires in a cave before that where hostile as intended. I'd like to post my load oarder, but since i currently have no internet access at my computer that's running skyrim i am not able too, though in regard to vampires i'm only using Dawnguard (obviously), the Unofficial Dawnguard Patch and When Vampires Attack, all sorted with BOSS.

It worked, the mod is removed and the game running stable! I guess i'll have to see if it stays that way, but for now i'm happy. Thanks again for the help!

Thank you both a lot for your help! Now, this might sound really silly, but how do i check if a mod uses scripts? (Like I said, i might have learned from my mistakes but i'm still new to all this) Like, what do i have to look out for to be certain? I'm sorry if i'm missing the obvious here but i'm seriously lacking in experience...

Hello, I hope i'm posting this in the right category! I'm pretty new to the whole modding thing and to be honest, also pretty new to Skyrim. So obviously i rushed into the game, downloaded NMM and a bunch of mods and did every thing wrong. My first game got corrupted after i removed Mods at will and it got so bad that i couldn't even load a save without CTD. I learned a lot about things like BOSS and started being more careful but i still lost my file. Discouraged I started a new game and didn't think about making a clean save, so i started the game and had all the mods i wanted right from the start. That went fine and awesome but after 80 hours i noticed that I'm not happy with the mod Elvenwood and would like to have it removed. The problem now is, that i can't find any resources on how to remove a mod like that safely and if it's even possible. To be honest i would be content just knowing that i can't just remove it because i'd hate to have to start a completely new game and so I came here on this forum, to ask for help before i do anything stupid. Is there a way to uninstall this mod safely? Or should i just deal with having this city in my world? If you need anymore information to help me, please let me know!
