Hello, I already use modern brawl patch and it works well. However, it may seems stupid, but sometimes NPC still turn hostile because they surrender when I'm still landing a hit that I can't cancel (or too slow to cancel). I'm can't find a solution for that, if someone has any idea I would be glad to know it :) Thanks in advance

Alright thanks for the information, I don't know about SSE (since you say it has been there since 2016) but I noticed the issue on oldrim as well. The temporary "fix" I did in the meantime just removed the decal flags, I will keep and eye on USSEP and will remove my fix once it is deprecated. Thank you for you work by the way !

OK it doesn't make any sense because it seems to be a vanilla issue. I reinstalled a new vanilla game, then upacked the meshes .bsa file then checked the mesh with NIFSkope and confirmed the issue. I edited and have solved it. EDIT : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/26302

Hello, I would like to retexture these 3 plants: https://i.ibb.co/VvpzNQj/Screen-Shot18.png But I can't locate where are their .dds files. Skyrim Flora Overhaul mod placed them there (if I disable it it they are not there anymore), therefore I thought they were added by this mod but I carefully checked each dds file and I didn't find them (and since they are really low res I don't think this mod added them anyway, it just placed them I guess)When I click on them with the console, I only get the formID FF000E7A (ref) and FF000E65 (base) information, but the "based in" (and any other label) value is "unknown" (I already have More Informative Console installed) therefore I'm not able to confirm if they come from vanilla game or somewhere elseI googled the formIDs, tried to do a search in SSEDIT but I didn't find anythingI unpacked the vanilla texture bsa files and I took a look at the files in /landscape/grass/ and /plants/ folders but didn't find them neitherI took a look at the files in /landscape/grass/ and /plants/ folders from my game installation just in case but didn't find them neitherI'm sorry if it is a dumb question, I really do my best to locate them on my own but I have no clue aside that Skyrim Flora Overhaul placed them. Do you have any lead on how I could proceed to locate them ? I'm running out of ideas, I'm really surprised that the console couldn't locate them, they are the first items that I saw with a "unknown" value.

Sounds like a good news for me because I thought it was impossible to patch a mod like this. Technically I thought I can't disable lightning sources with an external patch. I'm interested about some tutorials, because I know a little the ck (I did some basic mods) but I want to have the acknowledge to patch a mod like those mentionned.

Hi there. :smile: I've been using RLO for a long time, but I stopped to use it because : -Twinkle from lights : http://postimg.org/image/xlsdc7v2j/ then http://postimg.org/image/yd3h10w5l/ -Doesn't fix the vanilla's light sources : http://postimg.org/image/h2qz6u8jx/ & http://postimg.org/image/eplcnvhlr/ (there is no light source but vanilla lights this place). So I moved to enhanced lights and fx, it fixed both problems mentionned before, but now there is a problem that I didn't get with RLO : vanilla's light sources are modified by hand, so if I use a mod that modifies a place (in exterior or interior), sometimes the lights doesn't match anymore with the lights modified by enhanced lights and fx and it looks like this : http://postimg.org/image/5ew5jnimd/ Well, I'd like to know if : -There is a mod which combines the pros and has any of cons from the both mods mentionned before; -Is it possible to patch myself a particular mod, in the case I've to keep ELF and without modifying it, in the goal to avoid the problem related to this mod (because I prefer to keep ELF rather than use RLO again) ? I thanks you for your future answers and pardon me for my bad english (I'm better to read and hear it then to translate it than write/speak it). :smile:

And what is frustrating : I unitcked ALL mods, every single esp or esm is unticked ! Even the DLCs esp ! It remains only skyrim.esm and update.esm ! How is it even possible ? http://postimg.org/image/tw3y26587/ http://postimg.org/image/kku8v4bm5/ I tried many things : -Deleting .ini files, -Launch the game with the launcher and not with SKSE, -New game, -Verify integrety of cache with steam, -Install a new OS (switched from Win7 to Win8), -Install the game on SSD. What could cause this ? A texture ? How a texture could f*** a fx light ? Before I get this problem I only installed texture mods (and I've not installed theim when I got this problem the both others times). A script could cause this ? I don't know ! Please help ! I reinstalled the game 3times because of this and it comebacks everytime (and I reinstalled Windows between the reinstallations), it's gonna turn me crazy ... And when I install mods, I read carefully the steps of installations, compatibility and I manually install theim ...

I don't know if it exists, but I'm looking for a mod that actives the NPC's greetings only if we look in their direction. I tried http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/746/? but it only changes the distance which actives the greetings, that feels like an immersion killer to me...

Well thank you ! It's ok for the shadows, and for RLO : I use CoT for the outside and I keep RLO for the interiors (I've just to don't use torchs), thus I could say it's "solved". It remains only the second bug with the shape of effects ... -

Hello there, I searched for solutions, I uninstalled/reinstalled the game many times, I tried on a new clean save, I uninstalled all mods one by one but nothing helped ... It's making me crazy, it's happening since few months ... Solved : First bug : Hatched shadows http://s17.postimg.org/4ymsgd4x9/0_modbugs_1.png http://s3.postimg.org/vwegaqkwh/0_modbugs_2.png Happens to some rocks, walls etc ... And these shadows rotates something like every 10s ... But so many hours wasted for a stupid thing like this ... -_- Nevermind, yes I asked him to follow me and I made him killed again, waited that he respawns but he goes back to his location. Thus I think you're right, he respawns at his location, he doesn't go back to the player. And that's why I made this thread. I've no idea how to make him go back to the player after he respawns, but I suppose I've to use scripts for this or something like this to do this. About using playerfollowerpackage ai package, I would say no because players have to fight the follower if they want he follows them, so I don't really want to do this (and it would be weird if the companion follows them without they ask for it) ... Thanks to you for taking part to this thread, but I would really appreciate if a script knower could tell me if it's possible and how to do this ... :smile: -

I finally found the problem ! Make a new one from scratch as you said wouldn't solve nothing. I remembered a short tutorial to remove the default bow added to all follower's inventory. To do this we have to go in "Quests" then edit "Questfollowers", and I saw "protected" ticked. Screen there : http://s22.postimg.org/kvewe4wtt/omg.jpg As said in this page : http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim_talk:Protected_NPCs Followers are protected by this Quest by default. Now that I unticked this, it works (I knew that I did nothing wrong) BUT now I want to comeback to what I asked in this topic : Respawn works, but the follower returns to his location. How can I make him heading to the player when he respawns ?
