  1. Hey! I'm kinda new to modding Oblivion and am not using many mods at all. I don't use a mod manager either, just manual installs. I'm using OCO + its required mods, a couple retextures for the environment, and NAO weathers + NAO ENB. That's pretty much it. I'm playing on the Steam version, if that matters, idk. If I turn ENB off, I no longer have this issue - but when I enable ENB, dungeons don't fully render in the distance. Any ideas what's causing this and how to fix it? https://imgur.com/a/j7Oj6WK
  2. Okay, I fixed this issue on my end. No idea if this will work for others but I'll share just in case. 1: open Steam. 2: right click Skyrim and select "properties". 3: select "local files" in the properties window. 4: click "verify integrity of game files". if the files are corrupted or messed up in any way, it'll fix them automatically. wait for Steam to download the fixes. this WILL update your game though, and if you're not interested in running version 1.6xx, I highly recommend this patcher to revert to 1.5.97 (download the first option, the full patcher. I dunno if the "best of both worlds" option works and haven't tried it, so I recommend the first option.) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/57618?tab=description download MANUALLY, not with a mod manager. unpack the fullpatcher.exe into your Skyrim SE root folder. click it, run it, and have fun with Skyrim.
  3. I initially thought this was an issue only with Majestic Mountains, but I've tried other mods and I get the same results. I've even tried launching a COMPLETELY vanilla save with only skse64 enabled and I still get mountain textures clipping through the fog. It's been this way for so many weeks and I've tried so many things that I'm at my wit's end. I have no idea what the problem is or how to fix it. Any help, please? https://i.imgur.com/7ShUKOP.png https://i.imgur.com/EdxPDgy.png https://i.imgur.com/IGnrnYJ.png
  4. o oh my goodness thank you! I was dumb and didn't realize they did different things, I always just heard people say they use one or the other and not both. I'm gonna try this now!
  5. I've modded my game a lot, and I've run DynDOLOD 3, and it all looks fantastic... except for this atrocious ground texture. It looks sooooo out of place being so bad right alongside these lovely billboards and such. Is there any way to fix this and make it look more bearable???
  6. I've heard that, if you upload a high poly head character preset to the nexus, you need to upload it differently than regular poly heads. is this true? if so, how would I go about doing this?
