I took and read the diary and his mother's head then, dropped her head in front of him at Applewatch. He doesn't like that. I have done this quest at least a dozen times. I am to the stage where I have to wait until midnight to talk to Arquen to be transported to the Lucky Old Lady shrine. I have spoken to her every 10 minutes from midnight til 0300.I keep getting the 'when darkness comes we'll be transported'. I went to Bravil initiated dialogue with the LoL, went back to Applewatch and...no change. I can't complete the quest. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

When the disc start screen loads it says I am logged in but i get a message that says, unable to sync. When I try to go to the EA site, I get the message, after a minute, unable to reach site. Try again? I can live with the mods being as they are, But I would really like to be able to create new characters. Character creation is the part of any game, video or live play, that makes playing a game enjoyable for me at the beginning of the games. I will try disabling all non Bioware content. Thanks for your continuing help. No change, all I get is a generic male, even when I choose female. And I cannot even edit the generic figure, all I can do is assign attribute points.

Thanks Mrs. GG. Do I read your statement correctly by assuming the original character creation is no longer available? And that I am stuck with using other players creations? I'd rather start an old character of mine from a beginning save. I mean no disrespect, mind you, but I prefer my outlook on personality and corresponding physical traits. I have two powerful daughters that I raised to take no s#*! from nobody, and to not let anyone tell you you can't do something. Like their Mother. Thus I tend to create mostly female characters, in both video and live play scenarios. As far as the cheats question I'll have to look and verify. One was to allow me to give a character 50 starting points in strength and dexterity that I could then distribute to other attributes. Not game breaking, but very handy.

I have the original disc set for DAo Ultimate Edition that I bought when it came out and played the hell out of it. Quit playing it for a few years, played Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3 and 4. Recently, since Covid hit came back to Origins. I now cannot create a new character, nor can I access the official website from the disc start screen(get a timed out message after a minute) and my screen reverts to desktop. Also cannot access non DLC mods to activate the few cheats I installed ( yeah, I'm that kind of player). When I key the letter I coded in to activate the cheat mod, the game locks up on me and I have to do a hard shut down. I have a fairly beefy computer that was made for me a couple of years before Windows 10 came out that still operates on Windows 7 Home Pro. It was installed with top of the line game processors then. Any ideas and\or help, please? I am also an avid table top Rp gamer/ storyteller/ gamemaster. NO cheating when live playing. Anyone recognize my icon? Thanks in advance for any and all help. PS: I am a 75 year old gaming enthusiast who knows just enough about computers to get myself in deep s#*! easily.

How do I add tags for mod search?

I am looking for the tool in the title or, a mod/tool that will help make the load order correct for play. I have some mods that will crash me out to Steam when trying to load a cell pertaining to any of the mods. I'm not very computer literate, so I need to find something that will help me. I don't suppose it's possible to have the old site page back for me? I don't want to have to go through hundreds,thousands of mods to find some relevant mods for my game. Or, how about at least the old categories menu? Please? Thanks, Agatana

Great replies and fixes everyone, I have the opposite problem though. When I open Skyrim and after it synchronizes the subscribed mods, the saved games screen comes up and I pick a game the game locks up (not CTD) use task manager to get back to desktop. Every time I use I use the Skyrim banner to load the game this problem happens. When I use the SKSE banner to load the game it opens, synchs, and loads a saved game fine. This problem has only occured in the last two days, and I have used SKSE hundreds of hours. I have had no previous problem opening the game with either banner, sometimes my finger makes the choice for me rather than a conscious thought. I'm just an old guy that loves to game, both video and table top. I have no real understanding of how computers do what they do, so the vast majority of my ability to use a computer is via trial and error bolstered by suggestions and instructions from friends and family. My grown grandkids have to show me how to use my smart phone as more than just a phone. I really appreciate all the help I can get from them and great people such as yourselves. Thank You All

Been playing FO4 the last few months and just came back to Skyrim. When I changed games, everything was working fine but now I have no head texture for Orcs except hair and mouth. I have not added any mods and have made no changes anywhere. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? Thank You

When I use the "runscript addtalent" command the talents appear, but the skills do not when I use it. I've tried using "...addskill", no good. Any ideas?

So if I reinstall MoTB and SoZ then the shard bug in the OC will be fixed as well as giving me the polymorph tab? I do still have the original discs I bought when they came out.In fact I have all the Neverwinter Nights original games except the last one. What do you mean by "lite version"? Thanks

Just checked and the tabs under behavior are: puppet mode follow distance disarm traps defend master open locks stealth mode spellcasting dispel spells item usage ability usage I didn't think this 72 yr old brain had calcified that much. I do not have MoTB loaded nor SoZ. When I load in MoTB, Daeghun doesn't recognize that I have the shard when I come back from the ruins. I found a code that was supposed to fix that, but it doesn't. So I can't advance the OC past that point. Do you know if SoZ fixes that , or is there some where I can find the old updates for it? I liked MoTB, but didn't care for the encounter system in SoZ(otherwise the storyline was pretty good). Thanks

In the character's Behaviour tab on their character sheet, I think that's what the Polymorph setting is for. If it's switched to "off", they shouldn't go into animal form, though class mods like Kaedrin's PrC (which I know alters druid behaviour) may bypass that setting. I have tried disabling Elanee's UI for using abilities and clicked on all, I do not have any mods downloaded yet either. She still changes to animal form and my pc druid does the same.

Is there some way to keep Druids from automatically going into animal form? It is especially infuriating when you need healing and can't access their healing ability.

This isn't quite along the focus of this topic, but there is a bug when I create a character in MoTB and import to the OC where I go to get the shard in the ruins Daeghun asks where is the shard even though I have it. I have tried to get an update for it, but there no longer is on the official Neverwinter site. I found a code, but it doesn't work either. Does anyone know how I can fix this please? I have all three original discs bought when they came out and have played all the Neverwinter Nights campaigns. Thanks

a) DAMN i thought i was old @ 55 years.. :tongue: b) dont you save your mod profiles with nmm ???( i do it daily and start a new one anytime i want to add/remove a heavy mod that might cause me grief. ) This way you can fall back easily. c) im wondering how an update to nmm would screw with your mods. In any case .. Is that all that happened to your game or was anything unrelated to the game also effected like an app or files ?? a: Just means I was born with WWII still going on. You're as old as you make yourself by thinking you're old. Old is a state of being, age is simply a specific time in one's life. b: Didn't know you could do something like that, and don't know how or specifically why. Remember, I know just enough about computers to bury me in serious problems (obviously). c: The update notice for NMM specifically stated that if I updated from v.54.3,(or 56.4 or fifty something) to the v.61.x version I would have to delete\uninstall all my mods and repopulate NMM because of the differences imposed by windows 10 which is one of the reasons why I don't want to go to W10. I didn't want to do all that work to continue playing my game. It just meant there were some mods that I couldn't use because of newer version NMM requirements. The same for manually importing mods, I don't because of my proclivity for screwing things up, Murphy's Law applied to me and computers. It's why I use NMM, it does the work. I don't think I asked to be updated, why would I with all I've stated? So now I'm stuck with redoing all my games on my new computer, which is why I've gone back to playing Skyrim on my old computer. In any case: As far as I know (I've finally figured out what afaik means, I had to ask my grandson what lol means) the NMM upgrade is the only real problem. I have no mods, afaik, that addresses the lockpicking function of the game in any way. Apps and files? I don't know, I don't run anything else on my computers that requires as much computer resources as does the games, by a loooooong shot. Besides getting most of my news off the internet, emailing friends (what few I have) and family (what a lot I have all across this country), the only thing I use my computer for (besides as a paperweight) is to play video games. My video game interests are pretty limited, I don't like strictly 1st person shooters. Being a tabletop rpg'er (D&D\Pathfinder, Star Wars, VtM, etc.) and a Larp player ( VtM, Changeling, Werewolf mostly) I much prefer the cRPG video Games. VtM: Bloodlines one of my all time favorites. Combat is fine, but the combat functions in 1st person shooters sends my mind racing back to actual firefights I keep trying to forget. No Thanks. I have a naturally short fuse anyway. I've learned in the intervening years to keep a tight leash on it, that and my best friend\wife have been the only things that has kept me alive over these years. I try very hard to keep from making a full on combat character when playing in RPG's. I even tend to make female characters so I'm not expected to be combat heavy. It's amazing how many little trips I lay on myself to keep from going over the edge. Sorry for the head trip I just laid on ya'll, Ya'll may not be sympathetic or empathic concerning this, but I am hoping for at least a bartender's ability to listen without judgement. I didnt consider that you would have such an old version of nmm and obviously when you have a major update to most apps including this one youre in for a bad experience. Imagine that i re-installed the game fresh yesterday and had 255 mods installed that had to be reinstalled one at a time so i do feel your pain. here is what i mean by profile backup http://prntscr.com/c2aucc http://prntscr.com/c2av6u That pull down menu has various options, use them and you wont have this heart ache again (unless nexus decides to do another overhaul ) Just save the profile if everything is working and start a new one (new name ) and play with the new so if anything goes wrong (example a new mod killed your workshop menus or caused CTD (crash to desktop) ) you can go back and click the previous profile. I do this daily cause im a mod addict since i love building and am allways looking for new item to use . Well i hope you sort out your issues and get back to gaming.
