  1. Screenshot here I'm getting this weird noise/static texture only in 3 really specific situations. 1. The screenshot above shows the main location. This is the entire body texture gone, but only on the 2 bodies on the castle table. No character shows this issue though. It seems to almost be an issue affecting static objects in the game and not actual actors. This was seen again during a mod Mrissi where someone clearly took the Kajjiit and the wizard from the loading screens and placed those "statues" as miniatures in the game. For some reason these miniature statues also were missing their skin textures with the same noise for a texture in its place. I've ignored this for now as it was 2 static objects showing this in a location i rarely visited but it appeared in 2 other situations. 2. Gelebor in Dawnguard (i think this DLC is just messed up for me?), not his entire body, only his lips (not even his entire lip, more like a line around the inside of his mouth), and about 3 spots on his face. My gut feeling is this is a dirt texture issue considering the face spots, which is odd because i don't think i have anything to modify that. 3. I'm using cloaks of skyrim and super rarely it seems like the the shine from my magic just doesn't do this. If i have a buff on my character has the normal glow effect on them; for some reason this pops up on edges of the cloaks. This only happened a couple times, but i thought i'd mention it because its vaguely similar to situation 2. I've seen missing texture problems before, but i've never seen it look like this, nor can i find any info. I've even tried seeing if i could find an at-fault mod, or even a mod that fixes it, but so far no luck. Edit: I answered my own question as to why. I'm using skyrim Re-Engaged ENB. Shift+F12 as it mentions to disable the enb effect removes this effect. Now i just need to determine how to fix it, as its likley the cause of much of my annoyance.
  2. Tried turning those off, it didn't help or hurt, but considering i'm not really using the new sets they add i can turn them off for stability sake. So firstly for the stagger I've done this from across the room to ensure it was line of sight only. So i can at least rule that out. To give an idea of distance i near the railing on the stairs after you enter the castle, everyone else was near the dining tables/in other spots of the room. No one was staggered and most NPCs didn't even take notice minus the two who were looking in my direction when it occurred(repeated this tests from various angles in the room to see if this was repeatable/if it was solely sight based). For fear i turned off the fear from better vampires for transformation but i was unaware of wildcat having something for it. That said i did try turning off wildcat for a test and at least when i tried it there was still the same effect.
  3. Small update. It seems to only bother the NPCs if i'm in direct line of sight for trasnformation. I transformed out of sight, and flew into the room. No one cared. I then reverted, went to the top of the stairs where only 2 of them had line of sight which was Orthjolf and Stalf. The others were facing away. Suddenly only those two became hostile and attacked me. Even though post transformation those two didn't care when they didn't see me the first time. Edit: So i found an interesting thing. It seems if you do it in front of Harkon its just over and the whole castle becomes hostile. If during the tutorial you hide behind a pillar so Harkon doesn't have direct line of sight no one cares. If he can see me the whole castle runs to fight me. If its anyone else then it seems to be solely based on who saw me rather than it becoming the entire castle. The only NPC that seems immune (at least at this point) is the NPC you're told to talk to when you start the blood chalice quest. But this at least confirms its transformation only, which suggests some sort of tag on the NPCs in this castle is missing. Considering previous experiences didn't have this i'm almost certain its a mod at fault simply because i'm not using all the same mods i had in oldrim.
  4. Hi, So i haven't found a concrete solution/answer to this issue but this was a problem that from what i had found was adressed by the unofficial patch. In my Non special edition playthrough i had 0 issues. Now in SSE i can't find a direct cause. I checked my mods with SSEEdit just to make sure nothing overwrote that value. I had also found this thread at one point which made https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/752929-hostile-vampirelords-possible-explanation/ And its possible its caused by the wildcat plugin, but it seems dubious as i can't find anyone on that mod talking about it. Some suggested the fear effect upon turning is a possible cause from better vampires, but after resetting their hostility, going in, and transforming again i was met with the entire castle attacking me again. Its bugging me because i can't tell if one of my mods is breaking the patch, or if this is just an old Bethesda bug thats decided to show itself again. I put my load order here just in case someone can catch some glaring flaw that i'm missing.
