  1. Now as I understand that this is due to an issue with the vampires having a different facegen data to non vampires. However the fixes from Oldrim don't seem to work after some research I keep finding sources that say the way Oldrim and SE handle it is different and the fixes may work for some and not others. Basically can anyone clarify the situation with this bug and if there is one, point me towards a fix. I have tried "Humanoid Vampires", "Cosmetic Vampire Overhaul" and "Dark Face Fix" but none worked
  2. Well, I've finally got it working. I got a new HDD recently (was running out of space) and steam had moved FO4 to the new drive. Meanwhile NMM was still installing all the mods to my old C-drive so even though the game files were set up to be modded, NMM was loading the mods from the wrong area. Anyway, thanks for your guys help.
  3. I've done this but still with read only on and off, still not detecting any mods
  4. Clicked that button and the game launcher came up, still doesn't recognize that any mods are there.
  5. where is that located? Also I re set all the files to the new, just downloaded state ( to reset anything that I may of accidentally changed) and have now ONLY edited Fallout4Prefs.ini (below [Launcher] I added bEnableFileSelection=1) and Fallout4Custom.ini (In [Archive] I added bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 and changed the variable sResourceDataDirsFinal= to equal nothing) which are in Documents/My Games/Fallout4. This is correct? If so it still isnt working. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Im not meant to change anything in the Fallout4.ini file right? Before the clean install I was using the STRINGS\TEXTURES\... method and it was working (yes it did have long loading times) however everything ive looked at says leave this file alone but my mods dont work now
  6. I found the right ones now and made the edits however my mods still arent working. I followed each step exactly as show and its as if my mods arent there. I have them enabled in NMM and I get no error messages. All files are not read only. I have no idea whats stopping it.
  7. For modding I know that you are meant to follow these instructions to enable - it http://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Fallout_4_Mod_Installation However on line 2. it says to check that Fallout4.ini and Fallout4Prefs.ini aren't read only, however I only have a Fallout4Prefs.ini. Furthermore line 5 says go to the bottom of Fallout4Prefs.ini to the [Launcher] line however this line is nowhere in the ini file. Meanwhile line 5 says go to Fallout4.ini (which doesnt exist in my files) and change the set of stings in [Archive]. I do have an archive section hover this is located in the Fallout4Prefs.ini section, not where the guide said it is. On top of this I haven't tampered with my Fallout 4 folder yet as this is just after a clean install onto a new hard drive. Does anyone know if these instructions are wrong/outdated and if so what are the new instructions. If these are the correct instructions does anyone know wtf is up with my ini files and how to fix them as I currently cannot mod. Thanks for any help. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- found the rest of the files now and have done the changes. However when i open up NMM it still says I need to make some changes to Fallout4Custom.ini . Are these the the Open Fallout4Custom.ini with your favourite text editor. * Note that this file was changed from Fallout4.ini following update 1.2 Add the following lines to your Fallout4Custom.ini [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 sResourceDataDirsFinal=instruction as I have done this in the Fallout4.ini one instad
  8. So I'm sure many people know about the vampire lord transformation bug where you transform and do the tutorial and everything seems fine, yet when you go into the main hall everyone says stuff like "morsel" and "meat" and other non-vampire threatening statements. Firstly before anyone has a go at me for posting this as I know there are other threads for this, just realize that I have looked (for ages) and they all just end with the problem unsolved. Basically from what I can tell many people think it is a problem to do with custom races however I don't believe it is as I am not using a custom race for my current play through, just a Nord, yet I still get the bug. I use Better Vampires and have the Unofficial Dawnguard patch as well as Better Vampire Lord Transformation installed. The best suggestion I've seen so far is that its something to do with the factions. If anyone actually knows what this bug is or has any ideas I would really appreciate any help as I really like the vampire quest line and better vampire changes however this bug has already ruined several play through.
  9. Basically I use to run Dragonfly's TBBP, Feminine Running Animation BBP, CBBE and Victoria's High Heel Walk BBP and I used XP32 skeleton. They all ran fine together but I recently deactivated them to try just the Dragonfly's anim. However when I reactivated them I found that when I load up my save the game crashes. I know it is something to do with the tbbp because other charas wearing no tbbp armor are fine. Could someone remind me how to install them and in order. I have done XP32/Dragonfly's/Victoria's/feminine/CBBE. I dont think the anims have much to do with the problem but though I should just in case.
  10. Same problem aswell. I just turned on god mode (tgm in console) then ran outside. They followed so i drew my weapon the sheathed it then they stopped
