  1. I've been trying to figure this one out for a while and I've found a 'work around'. This isn't the best way for the immersion of the story, but it works. Perform all the tasks required to open the Cairn - gather the ingredients, talk to Serana and then she just stands there. Now, open the console and toggle your collision (tcl). Then walk down through the floor where the circle is and you'll see the portal to the Cairn. Enter and both you and Serana should be teleported. I know it's not the best option if you're really into immersion, but it gets you there.
  2. Same problem here. I'm on the Dawnguard side so I know it's not faction related. I'm not sure, but I think it might have something to do with UFO. Reason I say that is when Serana and my character returned to the fort after finding the moth priest and he has to read the scroll, he would read it and get locked up in busy mode and I couldn't progress. Luckily I had saved my game just before the reading and I tried 'dismissing' Serana before the reading takes place which fixed the issue. I'm wondering if this is a similar problem? Ok, I didn't get it to work but here's something that will let you progress into the Cairn. First gather all the ingredients, put them in the vessel, talk to Serana like normal and then poof, nothing right. Now, open the console and toggle your collision off (tcl). Then walk down through the floor where the circle is and you should see a huge ball off light - this is the portal to the Soul Cairn. Enter and your char and Serana should teleport to the Soul Cairn. I know, not good for the story's immersion but it works...
  3. I know where it's at in the editor but the problem is that once the NPC is loaded into the game, it doesn't USE it. ie, the NPC has all the physical details EXCEPT the tintmasks/warpaint. In the CK, up at the top in your tabs under Character, down at the bottom of that drop-down you'll 'Update NPC Body Tint Colors', select that wait for it and click 'Done' and see if that works. I replied to your original post and mentioned the problem I'm having with the lip tintmasks which I think could be related. Apparently modded lip masks will not display at all for me unless they are the original 256X256??? I have many 2K/4K texture replacements, all working without issue except for this one. And like you guys I'm hoping someone has the answer. I've tried a few things with the textures, mip-maps, no mip-maps, greyscale, black to trans and none of those seem to make any difference.
  4. I don't know if this helps but I am hoping it's related and someone can shed some light on this problem. For me the modded lip tintmasks that are larger than the default 256x256 do not show at all. I have other textures in-game that are 'HD' 2K and 4K and I have no issues. I've tried several things with the textures themselves, mip-maps, no mip-maps, greyscale, black to alpha....nothing seems to make a difference. I hope this helps or gives you an idea where to look because it sounds related to me. I'm hoping it's just some minor adjustment, ie. tweak this setting and poof - fixed.
  5. Hey guys and gals. Since we already have Triss's, Geralt's and Iorveth's armor available, why not go all the way. If it's possible I would really like to see some, if not most of the weapons and armor (especially Geralt's unique steel and silver swords) come to Skyrim. TW2 has a vast resource of arms and armor that would add a lot of good content to an already great game if it's not too much trouble to convert over (I have no idea, I'm not a 'modder'). There's even a crossbow and I believe I've seen several requests for those. Just an idea here, don't know if anyone is willing to put the effort into taking this on, but it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all you who share your wonderful work that you create for these games and that the majority of us so much enjoy.
