  1. I found it..thanks. I finally read the posts. :/ I can jump in without looking sometimes. Sorry about that. Thanks and kudos all around. Yay!
  2. K, thanks. I just had to reinstall the game for some reason but everything is working fine now. Yay!
  3. I keep getting a message that Skyrim is unavailable for me to play. Is this normal? I can log into Fallout NV just fine but I can't get into Skyrim. Are they working on it or something?
  4. Wow, not going to get much compassion from this group. Lol. I understand what you're saying. It takes money to print out the booklet and make the jewel case and the dvd itself. You would think you'd save a little bit of money but I guess not. :( You may be better off just buying the hard copy.
  5. Is the construction set out yet? Sorry if this is a repeat thread. I looked, couldn't find any recent threads. Thanks.
  6. To me it's just another pressure for women to starve themselves to death, have ribs removed and plastic surgery. I am sick to death of hearing how I'm just not good enough because I dont' look like Angeline Jolie and I don't have the body of J Lo. Really sick of it, guys. Fed up. Men just won't stop upping the ante' of their unrealistic expectations of women. I'm pretty tired of it.' Have you guys looked in the mirror lately. I mean, really. Most of you are just average..and I'm being kind in saying that. Your bodies aren't hard and muscular enough. Most of your measurements just don't measure up for me, if you know what I mean...what is up with that anyway? Your asses aren't as tight as they should be. You're either not hairy enough or too hairy. You go freaking bald by the time the kids are going to junior high school, if not a lot sooner. A lot of you just don't have enough war scars. Your skin is too much like a baby's butt...very feminine. Also, your voices aren't deep enough...your hair doesn't smell good enough, your armpit hairs are too curly..the back hair is just plain old gross. And I did a study that reveals that women are most attracted to men who are shaped like V s. Unfortunately most of you are shaped like lumpy cream of wheat. Women, can I get some input here on what is required for a man to be "handsome" and desirable? I mean ... since we are nit picking at women and beauty and all the things we should be according to mens' never ending demands and expectations.. I think it's only fair we should start making our own demands and expectations. Sorry about this rant but really, this started out as a conversation about guys playing girls because they want to look at their asses while they're playing (what ever) and now it's turned into a beauty contest among ideas on what makes a woman beautiful. Um, we're people..okay. We have hearts and souls. We are not dolls. Do you mind if I have a brain, heart and soul and am not judged on my out ward appearance to determine my worth and value or is that asking too much?
  7. Oooh, come on guys and gals, can't we just see the glass as being half full and be thankful for that much? Come on! :woot: You know Skyrim is fun, you know you love it...just allow yourself to give a little "Yay!" And really enjoy the pleasure of having a game so cool. Okay? Can we just give it a "hip, hip, hooray!" ?
  8. Lol! Rotfl! I'd be whoaing, too! A Mammoth riding a dragon? That's funny. And on the subjects of Mammoths, one of my whoa moments was seeing a mammoth falling out of the sky. I know it was a glitch but it was super cool. But the first real whoa I had was the first time I killed a dragon and then it puffed on fire...run away!!!!! Then this swirly wind thing came out of it and came towards me, reaching for me, circling around me..I was like "ooooooh nooooooooooo" I had no idea what was happening. I kept trying to run away from it...I already killed the dragon, "what does it want from meeeeeeeee?" And then it stopped and all of the people who helped fight it were totally freaked out... acting like it was a good thing and looking at me like I understood what just happened and I was like "What? ...that was a good thing?" It took awhile for it to register that I had taken in the dragon's soul. It all had a pretty big wowwie wow wow wow factor for me.
  9. Just go into their inventory and take the weapon out. Then sell it. TA DA! Problem solved!
  10. I was looking at all the men while playing and I thought of this thread and I really have to agree. I want Martin back! Martin was hot...but you know what happened to him :( I don't want to give anything a way and turn this into a spoiler post though. I want a Skyrim Martin. Yum.
  11. Wow, I'll be sure to stay away from Bard's college. :C Luckily I'm a warrior.
  12. They are all very, very small towns. There's nothing cityish about them. At least Imperial City felt a little like a place where people gathered to do business and it felt like it was made for bustling crowds shopping and congregating. I agree, they have 3 or 4 residential houses, a blacksmith, a church of some kind,a trader, an inn, and maybe one or two other shops but that's it. It wouldn't bother me if most of them were like that but all of them are like that in Skyrim. It really needs one big place like Oblivion had with Imperial City and Morrowind had with Vivec...I forget what it was called but it was HUGE. So huge I'd often get lost while walking around in it. It felt like a place of business for the masses. I'm sure some modder will fix this though. They always do.
  13. Quite franky I think all these "studies" are just a bunch of bull. Before models, women who were chubby in the middle were seen as being very beautiful. Look at all the old statues of women seen to be beautiful. Before Lauren Hutton, before Twiggy...women had no shame in carrying weight around her middle because it showed she was healthy. This ratio from hips to waist sounds very 20th century to me. I don't care how so called primitive the men were who they interviewed, they are still from our time and have been influenced by our way of thinking. For the life of me, I cannot see a very skinny woman as being attractive in the days before supermarkets and fast food. There were just way too many too skinny women because food was scarce and the rich women were milky white..because they didn't have to work or be in the sun and tan and they were chubby in the middle...I'm pretty sure the chubby went all the way back to BC days. As for what a woman looks like and what is considered beautiful..in this day and age it's hard to find true beauty because society is being forcefed to see and think what is beautiful by huge corporations wanting to sell us their products and manipulating real women into fantasy dolls with photoshop, lighting and brilliant make up artists and designers. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. One person may see freckles as an imperfection and ugly while the next may see beauty in freckles. Some see large eyes as being attractive, others don't. It's really hard to define beauty because it's not the same for everyone.
