  1. Hello. I'm partial to Organic stuff in and out of games and when I saw the Falmer I was thinking "this is actually pretty decent how they made everything out of insects". Imagine the look on my face when I discovered that it's possible to wear the Falmer Armour! and then discover that it's not all that it's cracked up to be: The Helm doesn't fit with mer Ears. The Gauntlets give of a kind of strange glowing hands thing (but possibly it's just me). The Boots aren't exactly boots they're more of shin guards. And the Cuirass, it doesn't leave much to the imagination and call me old fashoined but I'd sooner be wearing trousers rather than a loincloth. Now would it be possible to modify these aspects? like make the boots into actual boots that cover the whole foot and part of the shin, The Gauntlets to be more...better, The Helmet (just cut off the side-burns and it should be ok), and The Cuirass to be more worthy of a piece of torso armour. If you need any inspiration then This art work of insect armour Should suffice. Any way Darryl out.

  3. Hello. I for one love the Silver Greatsword what you find when you're doing the companions questlines. Now I was wondering around Skyrim the other day and I thought to myself wouldn't it be great to have a silver bow?, even silver arrows because the vast majority of enemies are undead so it would be good to have the upper hand. Any way I'd like to see someone extend the Silver Weaponry and make it look like the silver swords with that ornate design on.

Ah so it's not just me then, that's comforting it appears that it isn't my operating system either since most of you have windows 7 and still get the crash I have windows XP, but I still can't understand why it crashs on "initializing windows". Should I put this on the Official Skyrim Forums?. Maybe one of Bethesda employees would see it.
  5. Hello. I know it's not been out very long but I managed to download the Creation Kit last night but it wouldn't start, I thought it was because I was downloading the HD Texture pack, so I let that finish, and the CK finished downloading, I double clicked on The Creation Kit, it came up but at the bottom where it tells you what it's doing, it goes through: "initializing Archive" then "Initializing Facegen" then "initializing Windows..." and when it reaches that point, it crashs. Just shuts itself down. I thought to myself well maybe it downloaded wrong, so I uninstalled it, then reinstalled i, started it up and it reaches the same thing "initializing Windows" and crashs. I've tried verifying the integral files of both the Creation Kit and Skyrim but it's still the same. I don't know why it keeps going wrong, perhaps some of you know or maybe you're getting the same problem. Any idea of how to start it up?. yours sincerely. Darryl.

Darryl here and I've been searching the Tesnexus for quite a while now for houses but none of them have taken my fancy, and just recently I've been reminscing about the old games I used to play on the PS2 and PS1, one of them was called "Drakan: The ancient Gates". Good game, I googled it in images and one image caught my eye and it's this one. http://ps2media.ign.com/ps2/image/article/576/576285/drakan-the-ancients-gates--20050101100941774_640w.jpg The house in the background I like, so I was thinking about creating it for my argonian character but alas I have no idea where to start, I have some knowledge about Blender: I can manipulate exisitng meshes, I've worked out how to get static nifs in Oblivion, I know of the Construction Set but I can't create armours, weapons and creatures (but that's not really necessary for what I want).   7. Hello. Firstly thank you for the quick reply. I did everything you said and in the right order selecting the crutch first then the mantis, I did that "copy Bone weight" in the script menu and did it on everything I added to him, but when selecting it in the GECK it doesn't show, I must've done something wrong but I'm not sure what.

Recently I've been creating a new creautre for Fallout New Vegas it's a mantis that's been repaired with allsorts of stuff, from lawnmower blades to robo legs, I call him Buck The Makeshift Mantis. How do I rig it to a mantis skeleton?, I've tried to follow a tutorial but they seem rather complex for me (I know a bit of blender but not much) could anyone point me in the direction of a simple blender rigging tuorial?.   9. Hello, Darryl here. Could someone help me sort this script out. I'm making house mod that's in the gameworld and not a seperate cell but I don't know how to auto lock a door, I know a little of scripting but not a lot. The door has a key for the player only, there's already a script in the game that allows NPC's to auto lock doors but it stops the player, I have taken this and modiified it to what I thought would work but alas it doesn't. I've attached a picture of thier script (top) and my modifed script (bottom). I hope I get some replies. Yours truely. Darryl.
  10. Greetings Laddos and lassies, how art thou feeling today? (yes I actually talk like that in real aswell :D). Right, I'm building a house but I wanted a view but alas how can i do that without building in the worldspace itself, I mean like I want an interior cell with a view and not just the creeping dark darkiness o_O I've seen it done on the "Benirus Manor Revisited" http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25611 but how has he/she done that?. Aye granted, its just that it kind of ruins the game, I'm pretty sure that Bethesda didn't want that sort of thing in their game, hence why they left it out, they did put a prostitute in game but that's it, they didn't go all out and do the animations, sounds and whatnot. Did you know that Oblivion is rated 15?!, and there's alot of porn mods, all I'm saying is that there should be limitations. I'm not saying that mods are bad I'm saying that there should be allowed so much. Why do I get shunned from speaking my mind...
  12. I am looking forward to it and I aren't. I'm looking forward to it because well it's Fallout!, the gamplay looks good, the new creatures look good, the graphics look good everything really. But I'm not looking forward to it because I know alot of people will mod this for sexual stuff and in my opinion it kind of ruins the game, look at Oblivion god knows how many porn mods there are for that, and then look at Fallout nice game but people have ruined it by making this animated prostitution and incredibly provocative armour, which it doesn't look right. Now I know I'm going to get alot of jip for this like "if you don't like it then don't download it" and whatnot, I know I can't stop people turning it into an X rated game, but it's my opinion and everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Hey there, :biggrin: Aye it's me again with another strange idea. :sweat: Right then, as the title suggest is that armours made from creatures are just plain cool: The Land Dreugh armour by RazorPony is awesome. Also the ClannShield made from the same person is also awesome. The Elytra armour made from SickleYield is one of the best creature armours I've come across on par with RazorPonies. It got me thinking, is what we need is more armours from creatures like bear skin clothes and Spider deadra helmets/strange corset-type thing and Deadroth skin boots, you know that sort of thing, Also how about making some mudcrab armour in which you get it from the giant mudcrab in greenmead cave (that giant has to serve from something) the claws can be the hands and the legs can come around the torso. You decide. I have loads of good Ideas but alas I am no 3D moddeler, it would be really good if someone could make something related to the one's I've suggested, it also fits into the lore of the game. Any way, hope I get some replies. Take care now, bye bye then :happy:
  14. I've just rotated two trees by selecting both and then right click and pull away but they both are still parellel to the camera. Hmm, interesting. why has Bethesda locked them?. There has to be a way to rotate them, if you look in the construction set in the grid "Wilderness(54, -4)" just right of the four rocks in a square-type pattern there's a bush that has been rotated so that it's on it's side, take a look. (I'm building my house there). So if that's been done there has to be a way.
  15. Thanks for the help, hey is there any way to rotate a tree?, because I've found one that has already been done by Bethesda but I can't, is that in the Ini. file ?
