Less cyclic minutemen radiant quests
xzanderain replied to mauvecloud's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
I think there needs to be a defend quest for each base that once completed never procs the base defense again. it just gets in the way of game play. Do a quest boom in sanctuary prestons like oh jamica plains needs your help. But you got a laundry list over in the glowing sea to finish. No fast travel cause you play survival. its just a b&@*$ to deal with that sort of radiant flag showing up over and over again. Its twice as annoying when you fail it. Because it wrecks all you built in that town. I would rather the defense quests only happen one time. Then you dont deal with attacks on your settlement at all unless you want a settlement attack via the cc club content that lets that happen. -
I noticed that the bullets like cryo bullets, hollow point and the like were not in the anti material rifle list of ammo options. It just does not have the edit. I have no clue how to make the gun have those rounds in it. But while i was playing fallout. My hunting riffle modded was superior to that of the anti material rifle in multiple ways. First it had legendary options. Which anti material rifle does not. Second the hollow point rounds and just having those ammo types gave my hunting rifle another advantage over the anti material rifle. Third the weight difference between the two is a no brainer when making a choice on what to carry. So, with that said the anti material rifle is pretty moot to have as a cc item if it can not compete with a legendary hunting rifle unmodded. So if some one could make them compatible with the weaponsmith mod it make it worth using again. I just want to add my thanks advance for doing the patch if you get around to it.

I like the idea. However I would venture to suggest expanding on the idea. For example fusion core research and design. For example, Some of my ideas are thus. Depleted Fusion core shells for new fusion cores. That you can charge at a docking station. Fusion core mk 2. a fusion core that weighs 4/5ths as much and drains 5% slower. Fusion core mk 3. 3/5ths the weight of a fusion core and drains 10% slower. Fusion core mk 4 weighs 2/5ths as much and 15% slower depletion Fusion core mk 5 1/5th the weight of a fusion core and 20% Slower charge depletion. Just my thoughts on that.

So I have all ways been erked by the factor that you can retrieve all items off a companion, out of a box you name it from an inventory with the single click of a button. I feel there should be a button placed on the right side of the screen near the button that swaps between <weapons> <armor> <aid> So in that menu section you could have a toggle button up there that would unload all the items from said section. Making for quick dumping of junk into boxes or into companion inventories you name it. Just my thoughts on a simple way to improve the game via a simple menu button.

LE kate beckinsale: underworld movie vampire follower or anything
xzanderain replied to mohammad2017's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
if i recall there is a mod that turns serena into kate beckinsale -
Lady hawk is a movie from the 1980s. It stars Rutger Hower. The man is cursed by a priest to forever turn into a wolf at night. While his wife whom the priest was infactuated with was cursed to live as a hawk during the day. Thus keeping these two from ever coming together as husband and wife. Any how you should watch the movie. I Would like it if someone could create rutger howers armor and weapons in Lady Hawk Then create a quest to reunite him with his wife. It would be double awesome if you could use his sound bites to create dialog to. As it give him some personality. For finding his wife and killing the creeper priest he should give the player his armor and weapon.

Ok so much ado about snow elves requires lady body presets for it to work. it pops up in the warnings when you sort on loot. I would like it if someone could remove that requirement from the mod. Then replace the lady body preset for unp presets as its available to everyone. other wise its just wasting a mod on nexus. Since lady body nolonger is out there making much ado about snow elves not playable. i have tried contacting the mod author about this but no response so i do not believe hes part of the modding community any longer or has moved on. So i decided to try to ask around here if any one can do this.

Just an idea for those who want a realistic money system. But heres the concept. Dwemer, Gold, silver and copper will have their own values and weight. But once you start carrying to much gold on you... you will become over weight. Thus to circumvent this weight issue you can transfer your money into the form of vouchers. A piece of paper based on large amounts of gold or silver or copper. So if you carried a thousand copper coins you can then in turn carry a voucher for a 1000 copper coins. Or trade the thousand coppers for a 100 silvers in a bank. The banks should be placed in town holds. But merchants should be able to trade vouchers out through a dialog option. This way you do not have to go directly towards the banks to get vouchers. The banks should let you invest as well as an alternate way of gaining wealth.

They are real living ladies that need their own mod people look them up on you tube at this link and you will understand the need. https://youtu.be/2EV_N_l6hYU

Here is an idea. How about different lock systems based on the kind of door. Thus different lock picking games. I mean a dwaven lock should not be the same as a nordic lock. A chest lock should not be the same as say a locked closet. It make the game worth playing as a thief just to handle different tumblers. Like wise there should be magical locks as well. Enchanted keys comparable to that of dragon claws. That sort of thing.

The mages guild itself is very bland. It was as if it in of itself was an after thought by the staff at Bethesda. I feel the storyline and the quest line is totally underrated by comparison to the thieves guild. It was given no love at all. The game is all sword and board or cloak and dagger. The spell system is crap by comparison to the other gameplay styles. Sure mods can over haul the spells. But, what about the storyline progression benefits of being a mage? Totally thrown under a bus. At least with this portal idea there would be a reason to have multiple homes in skyrim. Honestly I play using haven bag mod. Just so I can toss clutter on the go. If the mod incorperated a object like the haven bag into it so you could while on the go portal your clutter as well. It would have an additional functionality.

I suggested something that may be inline with your idea a bit. Its called hearth fire home portals. Basically the mages guild guild masters room becomes the players once that quest is finished. Thus using the idea of the old morrowind portal services I suggested building portals to each of the hearth fire homes and connecting them all to a single armory to store gear. To make a massive mod like you are suggesting you need goods and services that you can not normally find in skyrim. For example, a composite forge for smithing rare weapons and items that can not be found any where else in the world. Or a Forge that lets you craft rare unique items that are vanilla in nature but you normally could not have multiple of unless you used said forge. Another idea would be a rare enchanting room that functioned similar to that of the above smithing forge idea. Another would be a rare alchemy station that lets players craft rare potions that can only be crafted there. Potion ideas should be like splash potions that can be thrown in combat. All these ideas would make a huge incentive to build a dead town up. Also, you could have flying mounts at a rare stables or something similar. You would also need shop keepers and citizens that have their own personalities as well. Or it be just like many other mods and feel dead to the player and using many generic npcs like guards with non descript dialogs. That make every thing seem robotic. Any ways hope my ideas inspire some people to make this happen. Honestly I would not mind seeing helgen rebuilt as well. I know there are a couple mods that do so. But honestly they all suck.

I played morrowind a while ago. The mages guild had guild portals from town to town. That as you rank up in the mages guild you'd gain access to the teleportation services. I figured I would suggest the idea of creating a portal from the mages guild, guild masters room that can be unlocked via quests to portal to your hearth fire homes. With the final portal unlocked it should take you as a player to a universal armory area where the player can store their gear regardless of which hold he or she is at. This would give players a reason to unlock and purchase homes as well. As it be an alternative way of fast traveling between the holds.

Been thinking archery is pretty limited even with the many adjustments people have given it to boost its viability in combat. So in light of that, I was thinking that there should be a runic archer path within the tree. some of the perk ideas should be: runic arrows: Grants the ability to enchant arrows to have a custom rune spell built in that hits on impact. Thus if you shoot an arrow and it hits the ground a rune will appear. Runic Charge: When drawing back the bow and expending mana You can enlarge the area that a rune encompasses. Thus shooting an arrow normally would only make a normal rune where as a fully charged one would make a large rune. Empower rune : grants extra damage to runes Runic way : lets you see where the area of impact will be prior to firing the arrow. This should be active while scoping with enchanted arrows. Any ways hope some one makes this mod.

It has a light round shield yet no heavy tower shield for its heavy armor sets I just figured I would suggest that someone make a dawn guard heavy shield to fill in for this oversight.

He is a npc that simply does one thing. lets the player trade up bulk arrows for higher grade arrows. For example. For 100 iron arrows the player trades in to Fletcher Rhodes. Fletcher Rhodes returns 10 steel arrows. Likewise if the player trades in 100 steel arrows. The player then in return receives better arrows in a stack of 10. Ultimately leading to the highest grade arrows. As for what city he should reside in who knows. maybe make a set of merchants in this vein of thought throughout the holds.

perk magzine hunt and ideas
xzanderain replied to xzanderain's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Ideas
More or less I was merely suggesting ideas for perks. Leaving the balance and ideas up to the community and the guy who wishes to create such a mod. I just figured hunting down perks from magazines would bring a bit of fallout 4 to newvegas. Also its because its easy to grind up levels for perks. So instead I feel it be more interesting to put a bunch of perks in the game totally unrelated to leveling and have the protagonist seek those magazines out. These perks should not be overpowered but should have stack-able levels. They should have less than a modest maximum stats for having found a complete set of those magazines. I feel the perks themselves should have amusing names like "the baconator" which is a hamburger from a fast food joint. Benders my vendor is a play on bender the robot from futurama. Things of this sort add a bit of pop culture flare to the game. Any ways I hope some one dedicates their time to building a magazine hunt for like 30 + crazy perks that give the player a good laugh. -
So the idea is to hunt magazines down in the Mojave that give perks to the player similar to fallout 4 "Five in the clip" adds five more rounds to all hand gun clips. adding to the maximum clip size. "internal charge controller" gives energy hand guns recharger like properties. Thus reducing the amount of ammo expended. "super sonic rounds" Adds a ignore 2 to armor when using sniper rifles. "The baconator" enemies have a chance to leave behind cooked flesh when killed via fire. "Hand on the pulse" increases the firing rate of plasma weapons "mr megaton" increases the reload speed of launchers "Golden gloves" unarmed attacks can stagger enemies "Old red rider" beebee guns now knock down enemies "Flak bait" enemies shot by rifles now bleed out over time "Flak jacket" explosives do 3% less damage to you "Close the wound" Stim packs recover 5% more health "Set the bone" stim packs can be used to heal broken bones in hardcore mode, and doctor bags can heal health by 10% "benders your vendor" You get a 10% discount when bartering with robots " dead mans Switch" when player hits 10% health his vats is fully recharged. Any ways some may not be balanced dependent on peoples mods but the idea is to have to find them not level up to get them.
-
I believe it should be dependent on the corpse. For example, a busted robot should have an electrical burst, or plasma explosion. While a Brahman from a caravan that was attacked should have an explosive burst. As its mentioned that they are rigged to blow up on people who would rob them. However, undead corpses, glowing ones and the like should be radioactive.

I was thinking that there needs to be a mod that puts in random events of escaped legion slaves with bomb collars on their necks. These collars will blow up on the player if he or she fails to dismantle the bomb. The player if successful should get a c4 charge from it. If not the player should end up seeing a bloody boom next to them that harms them. This would bring slavery back into the game from the fallout 3 game. I think the bomb detonation should be random skill check based on the explosives expert skill. That way the player will never know if he or she can save the slave from their fate. Maybe we could take the idea further as well. Maybe if your player is an evil player or working for the legion. The player can turn the slave in instead. This would affect karma.

Can you quote who you were replying to, in regard to seizing the fort.....it would make it easier to respond knowing the exact context. Without it, I'm going to reply in general terms re the fort. The most powerful military asset for this BOS ending is the securitrons. Without them, the BOS stays a minor faction. The securitron vault is in the fort, it would be essential to guard it's repair and production facilities. But even if it wasn't hiding the vault, the fort is a bulwark against invasion from the north...and can be a important line of defense to protect Hoover. I think I covered that in response to your last post on it Search the thread and you'll see some ideas I had for Black mountain (as a way to jam the securitron wireless network in that area, and how your opponents can utilize it). Since two of the most powerful factions in the southwest are fighting over Hoover, I suspect it ranks higher in importance than you give it credit for. Sorry about that I had not seen this thread in a long time Thought it was a new one. Then it popped up again. LOL. ANY ways how far have you made it with your mod thus far>?

The rocket gauntlet. player does a regular punch at a distance and so long as the crosshairs are on the enemy it launches a rocket propelled gauntlet at the target. maybe have some cool smoke trail effect as well. or a custom animation for launching it.
