I am preparing for a evil cannibal playthrough and I've been trying to find a good melee weapon mod, theres a respectable collection of fancy swords but what I really would love is a bloody cleaver, basically the butchers ( from diablo) cleaver, a meat cleaver. The closest I found was a machete but I want it to LOOK like a cleaver, one chopping edge and almost a rectangle you know? With a unique name, high but not broken damage and a cool effect like double cripple chance or something.

Could someone please make a mod that removes karma requirements for RL-3? I've never been able to have him as a companion because I never play neutral. I've found lots of mods that change RL-3 to other types of robots or creatures but none that just remove all karma requirements. If you could also make tinker joe essential and give RL-3 a stealth field for when the player goes stealthy that would be amazing but I would be very happy with just karma removed. Cheers

Yeah, I'd just swap the nif, then you won't have to worry about the mod order (or even loading the mod), just have to make sure you drop it in the correct folder. If you want to do that, shout and I can give you the path names when I'm in front of the geck, or if sullyvanj93 currently has his open, I'm sure he can guide you through quickly and painlessly. Yes please, that would be fantastic. No rush can just PM me later if you want.

If Zhylaw were to go that way, s/he could simply copy over teh more modest nif and rename it the same as the chain prostitute nif, then drop it in the directory. It will be used instead of the original nif in the bsa. I don't suppose you could explain how to do this and what the file names would be? :P

So if it's just an issue of modesty and you want the model to look different that's much easier than changing the id and any formlists they are based on......if I understand you correctly. It would just require selecting a new model on the outfit/armor form. Your only interested in changing the "Chained prostitute outfit" (the only one I can think of offhand that has the tape over the nipples)? Choose another outfit and I or just about anyone in the forum that's modded can swap the two for you. You could go with the standard prostitute outfit, or the exposed (neither have exposed female nipples) or another outfit from the page of the wiki. That would be cool but I was also hoping to remove the outfit from item lists while I was at it due to a specific issue with another mod. I was using killable raider kids, but the outfits used are drawn randomly and I ended up encountering a raider girl wearing the chained prostitute outfit which was made twice as bad because apparently that outfit has large boobs built into the mesh so I was fighting a raider girl almost naked with big boobs :sad: Even without the mod though I was thinking some sort of itemid swap because other mods might use the outfit and I run a lot of mods Would it be very difficult to make something where when the game asked for that outfit it was redirected to something else?. oooh I didn't quite understand before. Yes that would work perfectly. Any dress available in vanilla would be fine for maximum compatibility. I'm surprised something like this doesn't already exist. But I would really love a mod that removed the duct tape over nipples prostitute outfit from the game. It should replace all npc's set to wear it with a dress or something maybe by linking the item id to something else AND also remove it from any general item and spawned item lists so that any mods that pull from random clothing lists wont spawn it. Barton Thorn - A logical and better encounter

I think the Barton Thorn mini quest is cool and sets the tone for New Vegas. The problem is he is a skilless clueless buffon in pajamas. He would have to be mentally ill to think he could take down someone who could defeat a gecko army. Plus it made defeating him after the betrayal very boring and anti-climatic. I would like a mod that just makes Barton Thorn much tougher and gives him decent armor and weapon. Turn it into a mini boss battle. Considering the encounter is entirely optional and depending on mods he sometimes gets wrecked by creatures just standing there before talking to the player I think making him a touch more difficult then is fair would be fine. Just don't give him any stupidly overpowered loot please. Cheers -

That would actually be brilliant IF he had a quest to get his courage so eventually he would actually fight. It could be like the cowardly lion from wizard of Oz maybe actual references to the movie that would be sweet.

When installing a mod through NMM, if I get the texture/mesh already installed popup asking whether or not to use the new one, does that mean the mods will conflict or that they merely share a resource file? Thanks

Hello :) I really like Beagle, he is so sleazy, lazy and cowardly yet arrogant, swarmy and verbose. I would love to see a companion mod for him. It would be perfect because he literally loses his job and becomes a sad depressed individual with nothing left in life after you complete his quest-line. There could be a trigger after you finish bringing the law that simply asks him to join you because he got nothing better to do. And then he would demand payment because that's just what he would do :P He actually has lots of dialogue that could be chopped to give him lines. He already acts as a pseudo companion when he helps you clear the hotel. He just needs a default companion unlimited ranged/melee weapon, moderately buffed stats and a wheel. Doesn't need a quest or extra dialogue or anything fancy like that. A perk that makes a funny joke about him would be cool but not a must have. It could be something like "Brave Brave Deputy Beagle" making a reference to Monty Python and cowards and it could give 10% more vats accuracy cause hes a coward who snipes long range or maybe 10% less gun spread or 10% DR if shot in the back (if that's even possible) as a reference to him running away.
