  2. Alright, I'm looking for two particular races from screenshots I saw on the SHY uploader a while back. The first is another generic catgirl race of the x117 variety, and the second is a x117 dremora. I have both MBP 2chan edition++ and x117race++ all working but these particular races aren't in those mods. Any Idea where I can get those races? http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e131/The_Only_Janitor/Mysteryrace.jpg http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e131/The_Only_Janitor/minidremora.jpg
  3. I recently watched the short film "Sintel" and I really liked her clothes and spear. So if anyone can make this as an armor/clothes to fit a HGEC or other body, and/or make her spear as a weapon, that would be AWESOME. http://durian.blender.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/sintel_cover.jpg http://www.sintel.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/sintel_stage2_model.png http://www.sintel.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/model_test.jpg http://www.sintel.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/sintel.jpg
  4. What I'm thinking of is a mod that would add a few races, a ghost (similar to the ghosts in "knights of the nine") skeletons, and zombies as races, not neccisarily playable, but to replace the existing ghosts/zombies/skeletons in the level lists. The reasons that I think these creatures should be npcs are as follows. 1. Dynamic Equipment (more than just weapons/shields) 2. So that spells or scripts that only effect npc's will affect them. 3. Better for use with CM Partners 4. Just plain cool. I was thinking that for zombies in particular, they could use several "equipment" that would cause the appearance of say.. a bloody stump instead of an arm, or exposed ribcage or so forth. Maybe there could be head slot items like a missing lower jaw, or a tail slot item of sword stuck through the zombie. These shouldn't be playable items, because they would just be silly on a player character or other npc (not a zombie). I'm not exactly sure how npc ghosts were handled by other mods, but that same technique could be used for this. Skeletons on the other hand would be a little different, a lot of the vanilla games armor comes with a body parts showing. Example is the Huntsman's Vest, regardless of the body underneath it always shows the default bodymesh.. For skeletons this won't work so well, being as they are just bones.. Instead, skeletons could have special armors just for them, because I don't see any other way around this. Zombies don't have to worry about his as much, because the default armors will still take the zombies body texture. Zombies COULD have all their parts intact after all. I think that zombies and ghosts will probably need their own special walk animations so they don't feel like everyone else.. but that's not really important compared to the big picture. If someone was really ambitious, a equip-able leg stump could be scripted to change the users walk animation to a hop or something, lol. As usual with my mod suggestions, I have no plans of doing this, but I really like the idea so I throw it out to the community. And YES I understand that this would be a huge amount of work to make. On the other hand, if anyone knows of anything that is similar to this that already exists, let me know!
  5. I'm asking if anyone knows of an existing mod that ALWAYS gives a dialogue option to "end dialogue". The reason I ask is because with mods like companion share and recruit, robco certified, and real time settler, the dialogues for each mod tend to go into loops and it becomes impossible to just make them shut up. I have to load the game every time this happens. All I want is a line of dialogue always visible for every npc that ends dialogue with them. If nobody knows of a mod like this, how difficult would it be to make it? I'm not really familiar with the GECK. Alternatives would be acceptable, like if any of you know a way to make a merged patch of JUST dialogue from multiple mods. Thanks for any assistance ahead of time.
  6. Brilliant, thank you for your help. That was exactly it.
  7. So here is the situation. After adding 3 new mods all of a sudden NPC's don't turn their heads anymore. They don't look up or down or left or right, their eyes never look around. When sitting, the NPC's don't turn to look at me when I talk to them. Here are a few examples of what I'm talking about. The bottom two examples are sitting NPC's by the way. The new mod's I added the day that I noticed this problem were: SoVvM Deadly Reflex 5 (with the hotfix) Demonized The problem is still there after disabling those mods in Modmanager, and also still there when disabling all of my .esp's and .esm's except Oblivion.esm. Also, today I tried to add "LookHereYou" and it didn't do anything. I think these things are related. UPDATE: I backed up and deleted my meshes and textures folders, ran the game and still have the same problem. Is the npc's head motion in a .ini or something?
  8. Hmm, so not only does it make you look like them, it makes you the owner of all their stuff? This I gotta look into, thanks for the info.
  9. Well, if your looking for a mod with "Children" and not midgets, i'd reccomend getting some of the x117 races from modular beautiful people, 2chan edition http://narulivion.blog46.fc2.com/blog-entry-136.html They look a WHOLE lot less like midgets. In order to keep them from becoming midgets when they wear clothes, there is a few clothes mods here with "heps" in the name that keeps their figure, warning, most of what is here is COMPLETELY the opposite of what i think your looking for. http://www12.atwiki.jp/ssmod/pages/28.html But anyway, i figure you could use this stuff (with the authors consent of course) to make a REAL child mod, and not a bunch of squishyfaced midgets. As it was stated before, to not be "midgets" the x117 race has its own headmesh files, and because of this, hairs and headwear other than what was designed for them would be totally messed up. And like other races, they use the bodies your other races do, so slap some non playable clothes on them, particularly from heps mods, because they are designed for the body.
  10. Hey! Look! Listen! ... Watch Out! Personally, I can see a use for such a fairy, perhaps it could give off some light, similar to the starlight spell. As for the taunts, it could give you a warning if it were to see an enemy, like the combat music, lol. I hope you can find someone to help you with this, i'd totally use it.
  11. Thanks for the sarcasm, but the reason I posted this in the File Requests/Suggestions forum is because I don't have the time or patience to actually work on this.
  12. Aww crap, would be great if i knew about this project before I stopped using windows 32 bit. None of my mesh programs have been working since the change, I agree with your original post totally, I'm sick of huge crazy decorative armors, or things that make you look too unique, I'd much rather have more variety in armor types, like Splintmail, or Ringmail. New kinds of other armors as well, like a breastplate version of the heavy armors, without pauldrons and of course it would have lower defence. It just sucks that i can't really help you, lol.
  13. I myself have frequently changed my NPC's in game, through the use of running scripts in the console, but even assuming that one couldn't change the NPC's in game, it should still be possible to save a "copy" of that character to a file, then use the other spell to give a token to the NPC, that would mark it for changing, on game exit or load or something. If the face texture didn't match the body, then that would be a problem with the NPC you copied in the first place, and the question would be then, why did you copy it in the first place? But of course a mismatched texture can be rectified with good old fashion "showracemenu". Its pretty impressive the things that can be done with the script extender, so it's really not all that out of the question.
  14. Ever feel, ugly? Have little or no patience for making yourself attractive? Disappointed that your "twin" partners look nothing alike? My idea for a mod would consist of 3 lesser powers, each with a functionality similar to a "bodysnatcher" concept. FIRST POWER! Copy Appearance - would take all the required data (Race, face, hair, eyes, ect) from the target and keep it in storage, perhaps in text document or file in your oblivion directory. Would be an on touch lesser power, for simplicity's sake. SECOND POWER! Set Appearance on Self - Would be the same as if you were to open race menu, and set all the sliders and hair/eyes/race/gender to the last character you used the first power on. You would become their twin. THIRD POWER! Set Appearance on Other - Same as above but would take effect on your target, instead of yourself. I figure a mod like this wouldn't be incredibly difficult to make, and would certainly be useful for impatient players, or people who suck at using the sliders. Who knows, maybe if this idea really took off, the first spell can open a menu with slots for different bodies, and you can make a collection? I got the idea for this mod back when I installed the "setbody/setself" spells, and figured why not have something similar, that would change races/faces?
