  1. I'm trying to buy the Agility and Luck implant but Doctor Usanagi won't let me. She says something along the lines of "your skill is too high". Those skills are only at 6, but Luck is displaying a 7+ in the Pipboy. I'm thinking it must be one of the mods interferring: -I just used Rebirth to lower my Intelligence and Raise my Endurance, could this have caused a problem? (It tried to give me an additional 8 points so I used the Console to remove 4 points from Agility & Luck.) -With NVEC and Bobblehunt both installed, I own 2 Agility Bobbleheads. Maybe that raises my Agility? -I've also got an Effect called "Luck Boost" but I'm not sure what is causing that. -I have 70 or 80 perks as well, so any one of them could be messing things up as well. If she won't let me buy any Implants, does that mean the game is treating my Luck and Agility as 10?
  2. Okay, so I've tested and retested and I still can't figure it out. It's very frustrating. I've attached the files if you could take a look at them. I'm using one of the Big MT metal boxes from OWB. Here's my checklist of things I have done properly: -I have HDR enabled. -I took a random glow map from another mod to see if it would show up. (Nope.) -I've tried saving the Glow Map using many different settings. -I restarted from scratch with a brand new Nif file. -I have set the Emissive color in Nif to white. -I tried setting a Texture Map in GECK in case that was causing a problem for some reason. I've been following the instructions from this website: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/How_to_add_glow_maps Are all of the settings correct? Should my image have Mip-Maps? Why does DX5 save with an Alpha layer and should it have one?
  3. There are 2 NiMaterialProperty and I've changed the Emissive Color for both of them to white, but it doesn't seem to have an effect. Do I need to change the Glossiness, Alpha, or Emit Multi values? I also deleted the BSShaderNoLightProperty which I thought might be cancelling the Glow map for some reason. For reference, I'm trying to add a Glowmap to the Metal Box container.
  4. I know I've done it before, but I can't quite remember all the steps. Sofar I've: -Extracted the regular.nif, regular.dds and normal.dds files -I've imported the regular.dds into Photoshop and saved it as a glow.dds. (Not sure which settings to use here. DXT 1?) -I've added the glow.dds onto the regular.nif right under the normal.dds. -I've copied all these files into my Data folder. *All the files are named properly, I just wrote them that way for easy reference. I know some changes are happening because I also altered the regular.dds file and it's showing up in game, however there is no glow. Thoughts?
  5. I've been using the dumpster just North of Springvale Fast-Travel location. Enemies never go near it, only 1 load-screen, and I added 2 mailboxes so I could divide things up better.
  6. I haven't seen anything like this online so I'm thinking it's really simple and I've missed it, or it's not possible. Anyways, I'm wondering if there's a way to Export/Import the Lone Wanderer's customized skintone and face-design using GECK or something? ie: I made a Caucasian albino, and I want to use a mod which adds a new Caucasian race with Tattoos without permanently resetting his skintone or face. I know one option would be to replace the upperbodymale.dds and give everyone tattoos, but I'd prefer if only the LW had them.
  7. Thank you for all the help and suggestions. Reinstalling the Unofficial Patch allowed me to create a merged patch, and it stopped all crashing on XP. I just got a Windows 7 and thought I had another problem creating a patch with FO3edit, but it was just my reading comprehension. Or lack thereof. :whistling:

Everything is from the nexus, except the last one is mine & adds 2 storage mailboxes to Springvale.
  9. I'm having problems getting "An Evening With Mister Manchester" working without CTD, and I'm trying to create a "Merged" file with FO3edit. I upgraded to the latest DirectX and installed the "FO3Edit.exe" to Programs/Betheseda/Fallout folder. It loads all my mods, but when I right-click there is no option for "Create Merged Patch". According to Miax Tome of FO3Edit, the option should be right under "Apply Scripts Into" on the popup toolbar. I tried the conflict filter too but I don't really understand which ones are most important.
  10. I'll try and help but I'm really not sure. Comparing your Container to Moira Brown's there are a few differences that could be causing the problem. -Use a Very Hard lock instead of a key. -The NPC might need a unique reference id attached. Two other suggestions: -Are there objects in the container? -It takes a few days game-time for merchants to renew their inventory, using the Wait command might work. -(I'm assuming you have the esp file enabled.) And just for confusion's sake, all of your references should have REF in the name. It will save you a hassle later so you won't mix up values.

Hello; I'm trying to add a Glow Map to the Holodisk object so it's easier to spot, but it doesn't seem to be working. -I put the _g.dds file into the Data folder. -In GECK I created an ESP file and placed several custom Holodisk items around Moira's shop. -I created a new Texture Set with the _g.dds being used, and put this onto the items Any idea why it's not working?
