  1. Whelp, I just spent 40 minutes typing a well thought out, documented, supported suggestion, then accidentally hit the back button on my mouse and lost the whole *'ing post. Idea - be downloading fallout/skyrim/whatever - whilst downloading, go on nexus mods and browse - find mod that you like - don't want to download right now because still downloading fallout/skyrim/whatever - click download later button on a mods file link - it adds the download link to a temporary pick list saved as a cookie - come back to the site in a hours/days/weeks time and retrieve the list - download mods without having to find them all again. would save time/effort for the user, could also save on server resources in some situations as users would only be loading the list rather than having to reload each mod's page individually when they come back to retrieve the mods. saving the list as a cookie rather than in a database would avoid taking up storage space on the servers. could provided integration with nmm, allowing the entire lot to be added to the download manager at once (premium servers only?) perhaps future support for LOOT to be able to view the list and do it's thing before downloading? Discuss.
  2. I did already make a thread for this but realised it's in the wrong place and would ask for it to be deleted please http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/517069-modified-bethisda-files/ Have already looked all over the site and read the TOS but couldn't find any clear info on this. I've got an audio mod ready to go but didn't want to release it before checking. It's a mod for skyrim that uses modified sound files obtained from the skyrim data files. The only thing relevant I could find is about not uploading copyright files intended for use in a different game, does that mean my mod should be ok because it's for use in the game they're originally from? A moderators feedback would be highly appreciated on this. Tanks.
  3. 32bit windows can only use upto 4gb, if he's using 64bit the applications he runs will use whatever is available so long as they are laa enabled (which 1.3 skyrim now is) I was assume from his statement of having xfired water-cooled gpu's that he hasn't neglected to install the 64bit version of windos
  4. Didn't they include the 4gb fix in the 1.3 patch? Are you sure it's not just a bottleneck somewhere else? if you're only getting 50%cpu/gpu, what about your disk usage?
  5. Have just topped 1000 unique downloads (currently at 1033) for my mod Readable road signs but can't see anything to do with being in the mod author group or access to the author forums. Have I missed something?
  6. By icon I'm assuming you mean your avatar? Click 'my settings' at the top of the forum page, then go to profile tab. There's a section for avatars on the left.
  7. Running the steam version and applied the patch without any problems. Are you sure people aren't just being stupid and patching the wrong files? No offence meant to anyone if that's not the case ;D
  8. Ah awesome thanks! edit: maybe make this into a suggestion then that someone adds title text for the icon to explain what it is then
  9. Been looking at my nexus profile and just noticed the 'eye' icon says 8 above it but can't find any information on what this signifies... could someone enlighten me please?
