  1. Did you copy everything contained in that folder to your "my documents" folder? If so, look up the "Fallout3" folder inside the "my games" folder. In it you will find a folder with your savegames and 2 .ini files. Delete both of the .ini files. Awesome, that seemed to do the trick. I got it running okay, not fantastic but hey, its working. I get the occasional crash when entering / exiting a building but I can live with that, happens to me on Oblivion, too. Thanks a lot!
  2. Hey all, long time lurker, first time poster here, just have a bit of a conundrum I hope you can help with : I have modded FO3 and have been playing fine on my laptop, but I want to play it on my new desktop. Now, I have everything installed on an external hard drive for space issues. This was never an issue before but playing on a new computer I fear it might be. I copied the My Games folder onto the desktop to keep my old saves, then proceeded to run Fallout Mod Manager from the hard drive. When I tried launching the game I get the "Xlive.dll is missing from your computer" error. I know you can tick the "use fake xlive.dll" box in FOMM's tools but when I do that I don't get the error message but the game doesn't launch. In fact, nothing happens at all. What am I doing wrong?
