  2. At this point I've spent more time/days trying to get this to work, than I would have probably spent playing it. Like literally been every day once or twice attempting this, I appreciate the help and links. Unless someone can point me in a new direction, then I'm probably calling it quits on tes games for a while. All this modding and failing and stuff is just driving me nuts. Maybe I'll find some prearranged superpack or something.
  3. Been taking pot shot attempts at getting it going about once a day now lol. I like the wiki link that was provided after the numerous tries it serves as a great outline. If it fails then I've been just turning on fallout 3 which sadly I finnished up yesterday. So I took a look at the thread link given by Heyyou, looks like a lot of excess information and mods there. I wonder what FCOM is like seems like a legend at this point but here's the Wrye Bash list. I've updated to 1.09 warcry and it began crashing right after the opening video and would never get me to character creation. With 1.08 it crashes after I create a character, with out it it does the same as having 1.08. I am at a loss of understanding what the issue is, kind of sucks I really wanted to try this. ** Let it be noted Oblivion is installed on my secondary drive which avoids all the vista tie ups and program file problems.
  4. Thank you, see there is so much info and attempts at FCOM arround that it's hard to sort out whats current, broken and what have you. Will poke my head in there.
  5. I've also begun to wonder if I need COBL included. When I try rebuild patch it lists cobl catalogs with no check marks and cobl exhaustion with two check markable items Assorted_exhaust.csv and kmacg94_exhaust.csv. I have COBL in my back up mods folder incase I do need to add it in. I have all the tools really, just need some clarity on the order of events I guess. I know if I bash right now, it will result in the same crashing ,0patch.
  6. Ok, so this may be rather unoriginal but FCOM isn't playing nice with me. I've been following the cheat sheet from devnull, googling and forum searching for similar scenarios and problems but the most success I've had this entire time trying to install just FCOM's basic mods and options is crashing after creating a character. I will post my load order and I'll be here, all night tomorrow and probably day after if I must lol. I think my brain ran away on me. This is before a Wrye Bash on the 0patch. Everything seems to fail after that, I've speculated that maybe I have to many things merged but even cheat sheet tells me to mark all levelers and merge everything possible. So the step I am at right now, is about to Wrye Bash FCOM's 4 basic overhauls. Is there anything apparent to anyone else in my load list that isn't right? Like I'm trying to understand and wrap my head arround the large wealth of terms and processes involved with FCOM and it's supported utilities. So please if anyone can offer something constructive it'd be better than reinstall #19 with nothing learned. Thanks in advance.
