Hi! So I encountered this problem twice. I spent some time analyzing it and here is what I know so far (information that nowhere else did I found): - it only happens at midnight - it only happens outside, never in interiors - it can be outwaited: I have a save before 0:00, around 23:46 or something. When I stay inside past 0:00, then go out, nothing happens. When I'm outside before 0:00 and wait an hour with the wait function, my head doesn't explode. The next midnight my head is still on it's place. - when it explodes, it happens with the fiery animation. Other things to know: - I play on hardcore. - I took the early bird and the wild wasteland perks at creation. - I use vortex with mods from the all time trending pages, I use 81 of them, including the archive invalidation built-in function, which the program flags as a mod. - I have all the DLCs. - I have the 4GB Patch installed. - I have NVSE. My theory: It only happens once a week. -> But this needs further investigation (I first wrote incestigation lol). It must be a built-in thing for the base game. -> This is my first playthrough, so I think it's some story event that later gets revealed or a wild wasteland thing... I don't know, but I'm a big Obsidian fan, so I want to experience this game, exploding heads or not. So here's what I learned so far, I hope it helps.
