Thank you, that worked! I opened up SSEEdit and made the necessary adjustments. I went in-game, and now both helmets prevent the hair from displaying when they are equipped. Just to confirm that I did it correctly, these are the areas in SSEEdit where I added the flags.

I found this armor set, and it works well as far as I can tell. The only exception is the two helmets. For some reason, they do not behave like vanilla helmets, hair clips through the helmets from all sides. Could someone with modding know-how please fix the helmets? and the file is to large to post here, but I can send it where you need.
