Heheh... second playthrough, on Nightmare. Sometimes I feel an irresistible urge to punch through my expensive monitor.

It's well worth downloading, Shale is a very good character.
Except for the fact that "he's" the same height as a human male. I understand the problems when fitting him through doorways, but they could've at least made him slightly larger than Sten.
Shale has a backstory that explains some of that.
I know. But Shale was originally much larger, and the explanation was made after the decision to size him down. And that still doesn't explain why he isn't the same size as Sten, or a tad larger.

5$ for a moderate-sized amount of new content is reasonable to me, and the ones who don't want to buy shouldn't ruin it for others.
Two things: 1) <1 hour of content, tacked on as an inconsequential side quest is not moderate-sized. It's minimal sized.
2) Are you so emotionally fragile that someone merely stating their opinion ruins an experience for you?
1) Er, they haven't even stated the amount of content. You can't estimate it with the price or the information so far.
2) And yes, after reading page after page of trash, I do get fed up with the worthless complaints.
Something constructive would be a refreshing change. Juxtaposing the DLC with a "turd sandwich" is not constructive, mind you.

I disagree with the negative comments, because I myself don't see what there is to complain about. 5$ for a moderate-sized amount of new content is reasonable to me, and the ones who don't want to buy shouldn't ruin it for others. I'm saying because there's a dozen threads full of unreasonable complaints in the official forums.

Today a new DLC was announced, titled "Return to Ostagar. It'll be released sometime in the "holiday season", and sells for 5$, which equals about 400 BioWare Points.
I'll definitely be getting this, as the sum of 5$ is pretty much spare change for me.
Who else will be purchasing this?

I don't understand what this is? Does it tell ever1 your progress? Or does it just keep it for you to see?
I have a real hard time with things that keep tabs on you. It is why I don't use things like Xfire and Gamespies little deal. Also Valve or Steam irritate me as well becasue it keeps tabs on you too. If you do not understand what I am talking about here is an example. Say you want to play a game with a friend and your other firneds want to play with you too. Well you can't just play the game with one friend without catching flack from the others for not playing with them. Or if you just want to play by yourself because you are in a bad mood... Yeah you have to take extra steps to not appear online. Just bugs me. Sorry I digressed it's just I don't like anything that tracks you or keeps tabs on anything you do, it happens enough in real life.
It just keeps tabs on your achievements, screenshots, character progress, etc. , and displays them on your character profile in the Social Network.
It's not a mandatory feature, just optional.

Looking forward to the mods to come. Perhaps eventually they'll reach and surpass the elaborateness of the FO3 and TESIV mods.

I'd put this right up as one of my favorite RPGs.
