Banning Fifoo because I have not done so for quite a while.

I'd rather not see the option to import your save. In Mass Effect, more emphasis was put upon the main character, Shepard.
Dragon Age does not have that emphasis, and I'd rather not be stuck with an old character for DA 2. Instead, it should follow an Elder Scrolls format. The sequel will only have minor ties to the first game, and have entirely new characters.

Have you even played it? 'Cause if you had, you'd know it's a good game.
Why would you ask such a question when he's clearly implied that he has played the game?
Anyway, I do agree with the paint job comment. I'm not saying Modern Warfare 2 isn't good, but that it's too similar to COD4. Not to mention that the length of the campaign has actually been decreased, and the realism has been switched down a level.

Now we know why they wanted to do away with dedicated servers.
That really put a shadow on my day.

Pfft, just get everything from Steam, since they always have the newest in stock, the game will drop it's price in the matter of weeks. So stop complaining, it's global marketing, dog eat dog, capitalism is a ruthless game where the only winner is the greedy and bloodsucking businessmen who gave up their soul for an office with a nice view...
That's not the point at all, and that ideology doesn't make sense. You can have a terrific game and still come out on top.
And it doesn't matter if the game is produced by bloodsucking businessmen or white-suited saints, people don't want to buy inferior games.
"Drop the price in a matter of weeks"?
I'm afraid not. There are some games out there that still sell for their original price after years.

No problem, my post wasn't wholly directed towards you, anyway. I was just listing some of the more major problems for people to see.

Well...I will have to wait for 5-6 months until this game comes to Croatian stores...Ahhhh
Now that's a real bummer.
Speaking of user-made modules, there's quite a lot in development, and some of them are looking quite interesting.
They can be found in the Projects section of the Social Site.

Securom and other DRM naziware only PROMOTES piracy because its so hard for legit honest folks to actually get the damn programs running properly. Securom specifically treats all users as pirates from the get go and has nothing but limits, restrictions and boundaries that make things exceedingly difficult for almost everyone. Whats that? Got DaemonTools on your computer? Well, in Securom's eyes you are now a Software pirate, so your installed program wont work anymore. Haha! (happened to me with fo3, had to format the whole damn computer and dl the ripped copy of the game i already purchased from the store, just to get it to run lmao)
Yes, Piracy is convenient, free and easy, but if you like the games and play them, BUY THEM! Or we wont be in business for long lol
Copy protection really isn't the case here. Modern Warfare 2 is pretty lax in terms of that.
The real problem is Infinity Ward's disrespect for the community and abuse of the PC version.
If you take a look at the official forums, they are filled with negativity, complaints, and abuse. Only 1/10 threads actually praise the game. The moderators are nowhere to be seen, technical support is virtually nonexistent.
Most user reviews for MW2 in game sites are very low, averaging 1-3/10.
The universal praise for the game is also rather suspicious, at least to me. IW seems to be weighing the scales to their favor.
As you can see, the problems are as clear as daylight.

After hearing the awful stories about the PC version's multiplayer, I have decided to steer clear of the multiplayer. I'll just be getting it for the single player and Special Ops modes.
Multiplayer in these kinds of games don't usually interest me, anyway.
A couple reviews have been released for the 360 and PS3 versions:

I also dislike the way the multiplayer has been handled. Forgoing dedicated servers for the peer-to-peer system is a horrible move, if you ask me.
The treatment the PC version is getting hasn't been sitting right with me, either. No lean feature? No modding tools? No special editions?

Argh, the people online in the demo are... bad people. We were doing it on expert, and we were doing well. Then out of nowhere this guy on our team kills us, takes our guns and then leaves the game.
Yeah, jerks in online games are a fact of life. You can take a vote to kick the player, though. That's a nice feature.

Banning GETbacon because that sentence lacks any proper grammar or punctuation.

Oh, I havent played the "online co-op" yet, is it actually online? Wit oter people playing the demo?
If you haven't played the online co-op yet, then you are missing out on the meat & potatoes of Left 4 Dead 2. Once you've played online a few times, you won't want to play offline again.

I do like the melee weapons though. While they do almost always kill with one hit, it requires you to get up close and personal.
If you do it right, it's actually possible to defeat most of a horde with a melee weapon without taking any (or very few) hits. The trick is to not getting yourself surrounded and not allowing the Infected to press up against you.

This topic is for discussion of Left 4 Dead 2.
The demo was released on Steam recently, and people who pre-ordered Left 4 Dead 2 got early access to it. It contained two levels from the first campaign, The Parish. So did you like the demo? What did you not like about it?
The graphics seem to be improved from the first game, and the new daylight environments are quite nice. The Source engine is starting to show its age, however.
The expanded arsenal is what I really liked, as the first game didn't possess a very wide choice of firearms.
The new characters seem to be adequate, but there isn't really enough info about them for me to establish my opinion yet. My current favorite would be Nick.
The new Infected are also adequate. I didn't really like the concept of the Jockey, and the Charger seems to be a weaker version of the Tank. But the other new Infected I was satisfied with.
I didn't like the melee weapon system, as the melee weapons are able to kill most common Infected in a single hit. This seems to defeat the purpose of the guns! I also didn't like the fact that you could sever limbs or heads with a guitar or frying pan, which makes no sense.
It would have been nice to be able to experience one or two of the other modes, but oh well.
I myself was quite satisfied with the demo. It whetted my appetite, and will probably satisfy me until Left 4 Dead 2 comes out, Nov. 17.
The baseball bat pre-order extra is an adequate bonus, although it doesn't seem to differ from other melee weapons.
EDIT: The poll choices seem to be a bit wonky. My previous changes have been overridden.
EDIT: Fixed.
