So, recently BOSS had a master list update, or NMM updated, or something happened, and suddenly the torches on the walls in Embershard mine (you know, the ones you can pick up) are there again. At least, I'm led to believe they're there in vanilla, someone tell me I'm not crazy. This is all great, but it exposed a problem I had never noticed before with the torches removed - when running down the corridor, torches will "pop in". From a distance, they have a fainter, more colorless light, like vanilla, but as you get closer, pop!, it gets brighter and more yellow. It's almost as if a lighting mod is overwriting the settings as I get close. I have RLO, CoT, using an ENB + lots of other mods. I've played around with disabling certain mods, tweaking ini settings (flicker distance didn't do anything), trying it with and without a torch equipped, etc. No luck so far. Disabling lighting mods is tricky, because with all the compatibility patches they are all dependent on each other, and when you turn them all off it just looks like vanilla. Has anyone had this problem before? and if not, does anyone know how to find that torch object in tes5 edit so I can see which mods edit it?
